Bright! Get the 6000K if you want bright white, but we like the 3000k, which are more like the old incandescent lights. It has both screw connector for bare wires and a slot-and-tab connector (tab on the light) if you have that.

These are well made and interchange with my old halogen outdoor ground lighting. The 3,000 Kelvin matches the same color as halogen, emitting a slight yellow glow compared to the daylight white most LED's emit. I've been using these for about a year now and they last longer than halogen, save money, don't get near as hot, and I can change them out intermittingly with my existing halogen lights because the color matches. LED technology is finally equal or superior and cost has gone down considerably.

The media could not be loaded. With a specification of 900 lumens, these are bright lights that can work well for your landscape lighting needs. They are a drop in replacement for PAR 3 bulbs and as LED lights, they consume less power (9W vs 35W) and will last much longer. Outside of the form, fit, function, I also considered the color the light puts out which is not the same as incandescent. Light is measured in Kelvin with 2700K as standard incandescent light color and daylight is 5600K. This is 3000K so not quite as yellow but similar. The real difference is in the light beam angle. The original lights have a much tighter/ more narrow beam of 30 degrees then these lights which are 120 degrees. For that I have deducted one star.

I use these to replace the halogen bulbs in my landscape lighting system, they are "bright white" and the halogen bulbs are softer, so I use these bulbs at peripheral spots where brighter is better.great product!

Great light. Not super blue (2700k is as high as you wnat to go! Anything higher and its ugly/blue light) , so good for night time lighting. You will save a bunch of energy by using these lights. 9W!! wow. Incredible. Only downsides...super pain to install depending on your setup. I wish they made these entier light structure as some kind of plug-in thing (like usb). You need to screw in the 2 sides to contacts. The ones in my ground have very little give on them. Installing them was a MAJOR pain. Its nothing specifc to THIS light to be clear...its just all lights that use this kind of connection. Also, no clue how long these things will last. I use them every night for 8 hrs...so far they have lasted 5 months? Hope they go at least 2 yrs! we shall see.
