Years later, she was inspired to send one of her designs to Bella magazine, which lead to projects being published, and then she was told she should consider writing a book. As a result, she wrote three books on knitted toys, cross stitch and soft toys, and later when on to design needlecraft projects for magazines and DMC. Karen loves stitching and is an enthusiastic designer, and has written many articles since the early years. Sharon lives in Devon.
