I am 5;4'' ,weigh approx 170, med boned with and I'm in my early 60's so that being said, my body shape is not the same from when I was a teenager, and weighed about the same, having been up and down the scale on weight, I have become irritated with the fit and style of jeans. and the infernal gap in the back ( short waisted) These pants are a dream the fit is roomy without being a sack of potatoes. I love the color and weight of the fabric, will be great for working in the greenhouse and when it's hot out.but I love the waistband. wide enough to cover the hip area, and snug enough without being tight. even if it shrinks, it should be fine. I bought a large. glad they didn't have an x lg. or I'd have got that and most likely not been happy. I will have no problem wearing these out in public. Ithe fabric is darker than the photo, but I'm guessing they had studio lighting on it. It does have an odd smell, but it's not that objectionable to me, and will probably wash out. For the price, seriously I couldn't find fabric by the yard like this, at this price, the quality appears to be sufficient for the job. The elastic around the ankles/legs aren't tight as to bother me.

The media could not be loaded.  I was hoping it wouldn’t be so purple and that it would have actual other colors of patches like pictured in advertising. I think they use way too much purple dye. It also smelled borderline musty so I’m thinking they packed it right away without letting it dry out properly. Other than that they’re really comfortable pants (not that I’ve worn this one because I have to wash out the excess dye and smell) I have bought many similar pants and love each and every single one of them. They’re so comfortable and cool. Hoping that if I wash them out that the color will mellow out and that the other patches come through. That’s the entire reason why I wanted to get them was because of the patchwork design. They look like a pair of purple pants.

I just received these pants in the mail today and I love them! They are definitely a bit different than the picture in that they are more of a blueish purple rather than the reddish purple as seen in the picture. The patterns are different, which I expected after reading the reviews. They feel nice and sturdy and I can tell (so far) that they should last me a really long time! I am 5'4" and the pants come up about 4" from my ankle (I ordered a medium) but it does not bother me. I probably could have gone up to a large easily without any major difference because the waist was more snug than I expected but doesn't feel uncomfortable or anything. I like wearing them with the thick waistband folded over once.One important thing to note, as I saw someone else write, is that they BLEED A LOT when they are washed. DEFINITELY WASH THEM BY THEMSELVES A FEW TIMES BEFORE ADDING WITH OTHER LAUNDRY!!! I was amazed by how much dye came out...I thought I was doing tie-dye! I will probably wash them at least 5 more times alone before adding other clothing in with them.Overall, great, lovely, unique and happy pants!I would absolutely buy these again.

This product Arrived on time and in perfect condition! No damages at all.✓ Fit - I am 5'2" - 115 lbs - US Size 2. The fit was perfect at the waist and the length comes exactly up to my ankles when the pants are fully stretched. Sometimes when I stand up after sitting for a while, these pants tend to behave like Capri pants and I have to stretch them again. This isn't much of an issue for me. But anyone taller than me must note that they can use these pants only as Capri pants and not as full length harem pants.✓ Material - Quilt type.✓ Quality - Confusing. The fabric as such is really good. Not easily transparent. Cotton. Perfect vacation wear. But it does give out a lot of color. During the first wash, I accidentally put these pants on the washer along with a White top and as a result I've got a candy pink top now ( kinda like Rachel in FRIENDS). I've attached a picture of that top for your reference. Also, this pant keeps on giving out color for the first many washes. I'm not sure when this is gonna stop. I've made it a point to always wash this separately. I've attached a picture of the color of water during my second time washing this pant. You can see that it is still pretty much dark.✓So now that brings me to my next point. The fabric color tends to fade after a few washes. First when I wore these pants, they were a nice dark shade of red. But now, the color isn't so ravishing red anymore. After a few washes, the color has faded drastically ( picture attached). Also, the pants shrink a little after the first couple of washes.✓ So then why have I given this product 4 Stars? It is because of the fact that these pants are extremely comfortable. I bought this before going on a trip to India. These pants were so comfortable that they were by default my go to pants during my entire trip (Cotton feels really good in tropics and sub tropics!). These pants can be paired with a black or white crop top/ tank top or even a longer top with 3/4th sleeve. Looked good always. I even wore this during my flight back. Now that I'm back, I still wear these pants a lot. Got a lot of compliments.✓ The elastics are of good quality too. The tummy elastic doesn't make you look puffed up at all. On the contrary it actually helped me a little in tummy control.✓ Cannot be worn as a jumpsuit.***Update: Have reduced my rating to 3 stars✓ It has been more than 6 months since I purchased this product. These pants still bleed color. I've washed it separately many times now (lost count).✓ Everytime these pants have to be washed, it must be done so separately. I'm having to hand wash these pants. It takes up a lot of my time and energy ( Not to mention the fact that it takes up a lot of water).✓ Color has faded a lot. Forget Ravishing Red. It isn't even red anymore. Rather a deep orange.✓ I'm also having to air dry these a lot since the dryer shrinks them.✓ So in conclusion, I'd like to say that this Product would require a lot of maintenance and honestly isn't worth it.PS. I've attached a picture taken during the last time I washed these pants. Please do note the color of the water!

The waste ban is very very large and stretchy, the rest of the fabric does not stretch, but the pants are so baggy and loose it doesn't matter. Very thin fabric, but feels sturdy. Awesome pattern and look. I am 6'4" and the foot holes tend to rise up over my knees over time and lightly squeeze which can be annoying, but it does not cause any harm. Looks good with tank tops.

It’s mostly purple with little of the other colors in detail not like the original photo they show on here. It wasn’t a big deal to me because that’s my favorite color. The material is not that thin. I wore it in 80 degrees weather but it’s something easy to slip into for warm weather! I definitely can stretch in them. I am 5’3 and it does not flood. It goes just below my knees when I wear it like a “romper”. They are very cute !
