Nicely made, will last for years.
This is a really sturdy apron that should last years, plenty of pockets for tools etc a good strong fabric that isn't going to tear any time soon and proper brass eyelets and steel rivets in all the right places to none of the common stress points re going to fail.Rather than a loop around your neck which leads to neck & shoulder pain when you load it up with tools the straps take the weight of the top half and lifts it up over your shoulders through a pair of wide shoulder pads, cross over your back and they tie off and support the bottom half behind your back, I had a heavy leather welding apron years ago with a similar arrangement and it works really well. The stitching is good and all the seams are double stitched in the same way as jeans or good quality work wear, the outer edge is bound in heavy duty cotton webbing. It's worth pointing out for the benefit of anyone who hasn't had an apron like this before and thinks the shoulder strap arrangement looks like a lot of messing about to do up an apron that the way it comes out of the factory is just the starting point. The idea is that the user will set it up to suit their preferences, in my case once I've adjusted them to my liking I'll be putting a few stitches in the shoulder pads to keep them in place or perhaps a couple of press studs, the points where the straps go through the sides will be tied and I'll probably add a clip or hook fastener at the back rather than tying it.Once it's set up all I'll need to do is put it over my head, put my arms through and fasten the back, a matter of a few seconds and it's done.Anyone who has a job or indulges in a craft or hobby that involves blades, dyes, paints, adhesives lots of chippings or sawdust or anything at all that could harm them or their clothing will find an apron like this a good thing to have around.Well made & designed using quality materials with plenty of flexibility to customise to your own preferences, what's not to like?Five stars, with no hesitation at all.

Decent apron for starters
The saying, you get what you pay for, seems applicable here. Priced at £18.99, don't expect much from this apart from that it's durable and does what an apron is supposed to do, aid in your work and DIY activities. The material is good and well stitched and will offer many years of reliability on normal usage, but if you plan to use it for carrying many tools, and that being large, you may want to consider looking for other alternatives as the pockets are tight, unless they are used for thin screwdrivers. The straps are ok ish, but think these could have been made better. A quick release clasp would have been great, rather than have to tie down

I love it
I wish I knew why I find this apron so appealing. I just want to find excuses to put it on. Maybe it's because it makes me look industrious, a professional or just someone down to earth and easy going. It's certainly practical with lots of pockets and strong straps. It looks as if it will last for years.Could I wear it in the kitchen? I'm tempted.

Thick material
Very thick canvas but fits nicely.Sits securely and doesn't flap about. The pockets are numerous but on the whole quite small. There are a couple of loops for bigger tools.Comfortable to wear, ideal for the workshop.

Apron
Very average apron.Arrives in a simple plastic bag.Generic.Ties behind the back, which is far more cumbersome than at the front. The straps are too short.Poor value.

Seriously heavy duty
The thickness and toughness of the fabric used is incredible, and should last for many years. The crossover strap arrangement is a little fiddly to get adjusted on your own, much easier with someone standing behind you to help make it comfortable, but great when you do get it right. Some of the smaller pockets and loops are not necessarily going to be very useful, and that little bit of fabric strap dangling about the top right pocket is a complete mystery, to me at least. Maybe someone out there can tell me what purpose it serves. The larger pockets, and hanging loops at the side are going to be very useful, but the main purpose of this apron is just to help keep you clean when working. It may not be perfect but it's still a good buy, for the toughness alone!
