All about a boy named Charlie Brown, his dog Snoopy, and the other kids in their lives.Both of these run twenty three minutes in length [approx.].Originally broadcast in 1974, the first of the two 'It's the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown' sees Charlie Brown and friends doing things in the run up to Easter. Woodstock needs a new bird house. Peppermint Patty tries to show Marcie how to colour eggs. Sally needs new shoes. And can Linus convince her that the Easter Beagle will come and deliver easter eggs?This one has several storylines ongoing at the start, and does flit between them, so it takes a little while to get focused. But it does, and in the end it becomes quite charming.'Life is a circus, Charlie Brown' sees Snoopy run off to join the circus when he falls for a performing poodle. Can Charlie Brown cope without him? And will the new celebrity life Snoopy lives endure when he finds out what it requires?Primarily focused on Snoopy, but with some good moments for his owner, this has some good fun as Snoopy has to cope with certain adjustments required by his new life.This was originally broadcast in 1980.Both of these could be judged to be a little dated, not least given their age. But they both remain a lot of fun, and with some good laughs and character moments very much in keeping with comic strip. They're timeless classics [all the Peanuts holiday episodes are repeated every year in America at primetime on a major network] and good fun for Peanuts fans. Of all ages. As with all of these, they do have some excellent scores.The dvd has no subtitles. The only language option is English.The only extra is the address of a Peanuts website.But the cartoons are quality enough to make this worth five stars.

Brought this for my wife who is a HUGE Snoopy fan, and she lovesit!It's a simple a DVD - no real extras (unless you count the bit thattells you to go to Snoopy.com).Two cartoons on here, the one where Snoopy prances around being theEaster-Beagle and tries to sort out Woodstock with a decent birdhouse.The second cartoon sees Snoopy running away with the circus and performingtricks on the unicycle and swinging on the high wire to impress aperforming poodle, but it gets all too much for poor Snoop when he'sforced into taking a bath that turns him pink.Classic Peanuts - I onlyhope they release more DVDs with Snoopy Come Home for instance. The soundis clear and presented in stereo, and the colours clear as you wouldexpect from a DVD.Only two criticisms one is that the theme music isn't there (which I quitelike myself) - it just goes straight into the cartoon. The other is thatthey could have probably fit more onto the DVD, another cartoon or two orperhaps some more features - cartoon strips or perhaps a mini feature onthe great animator himself.Overall though a must have for Snoopy fans- and a good cartoon for those whom may not have had any experience withthat cute Beagle and want something that the kids can watch that shouldn'tgive parents a headache - at least compared to modern cartoons likePokemon. Pretty safe entertainment for the family from kids through tograndparents.Buy it so perhaps they'll release some more on DVD!

Very difficult to watch - DVDs starts and stops frequently, and freezes. Disappointing.

2 classic peanuts programmes filled with lotsof fun and laughter and nonsense from CB andsnoopy and the gang Just Great!!

I loved this, yup I bought it for me, I also bought a copy for my mum. She loved it too.

I used to watch Snoopy as a child and now that my toddler, whose 3, is getting a but older we bought this for her to watch. She absolutely loves it and asks for it to be played over and over again!Have to say I love it too and remember it well from when I was a child!We've just bought "Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown" which also seems to be going down well!

This is a very enjoyable DVD of Snoopy and his pals. I am an eternal Snoopy fan so I'm bias, but my 2 children aged 3 and 5 loved these two episodes too.

Peanuts - It's the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown [DVD] My four and six year old boys love this and don't ever seem to get bored watching it unlike the countless other DVDs we own. Highly recommend this, I'm just about to order some others since this was such a hit!

OK I have not had the chance to watch it with the children since they live at a different place.Last time I saw them they had forgotten to bring the DVD along.Now during the next school break I hope I have to see it with the kids.
