The black part of the cable is very stiff and kinks. If you bend it it all it wants to hold its shape, so if you're using this while moving at all its pretty uncomfortable (even just wheeling around between my two desks in my office). If you're sitting relatively still, just sitting at one computer or set up, its probably fine.

Solid build quality, aside from some discoloration on one of the connections. No real complaints about the sound quality as transmitted, or with the build quality. That said, the rigid cable was transmitting a lot of cable noise when rubbing against hard surfaces like my office chair or phone, which is why I returned it.

My cable arrived today and I immediately plugged it in the see what difference balanced makes through my little Zen Dac. Well, I'm pretty disappointed, I didn't notice a marked difference in sound, though also found the rigid cable is far too distracting. Any surface it touches you can hear, it detracts far too much from the listening experience when listening to master recordings on Tidal. Straight back to the stock cable, no feedback noise.

Nice cable but the upper part would acoustically send a loud scraping noise to the headphones when it moved against clothing. I had to sit perfectly still in order to use it. I returned it due to that.

I’m using this on a pair of Sennheiser HD650s and an AR M-200 high resolution portable player. It works very well, and is substantially built.

Makes some noise but it’s not very bad especially if you aren’t moving I’d highly recommend this I’m using them on the hd 650
