Looks and tastes a little like molasses
The instructions tell you to take this twice a day, once in the morning on an empty stomach and once at night. The pot is 30g, and comes with 60 servings which should last about a month if you take 500mg a day. It comes with a plastic insert which tries, but unfortunately fails, to keep the lid from getting stuck up, and a very small plastic spoon for measuring out the right amounts, which you must guard with your life for the whole month. I’ve gone close to losing the spoon several times and I don’t know how I’d measure out the right amount without it.It tastes almost exactly how you’d expect molasses or black treacle to taste if it didn’t have any sugar in it and has almost exactly the same consistency, which isn’t really that bad once you get used to it. The flavour is not too strong and because it has a similar taste to coffee, I didn’t really notice it when dissolved in a cup. I suppose it would go well in cocoa, as a bedtime drink. I did try it in a cup of chamomile and chicory tea once and I’m ashamed to say that I couldn’t tell the difference, but the most palatable way I found to take it is straight off the spoon. Straight in, wince a little and then it’s gone. It beats faffing around with hot drinks and kettles.

Runnier consistency which is easier to handle and mix
Previously I've used shilajit in its resin form, that can be a little hard to use, the consistency means that it can get a little messy when taking out of the container as well as take longer to dissolve, that's where this offering wins - it is runnier in consistency, like a runny honey or Marmite would be. This eliminates some of the problems I previously experienced with the resin form shilajit. It also states that this version is organic, if true, then this also makes this one stand out against the non-organic versions. In summary, this is my favourite shilajit to use if mixing with water.

I hadn't taken shilajit before .I took this every day for a month I felt it was doing something but not enough. I then purchased another brand which had a five star rating. Now I feel the difference. What ever the process is for final product outcome it's loses quality

If it tastes bad it must be good for you, right?
I got this as I have seen so many advert reels that suggest it has some important minerals to help with health and energy wellbeing etc. Is it a placebo effect though or genuine? We're all individual in every aspect so it is something you would have to try and persevere with to see if it has positive effects for you. Yes, the taste is pretty awful but it is only a tiny spoon (provided) amount required to be taken each day so is it really that bad? I think the effects may be more noticeable with a complete change in diet as the majority of supermarket foods these days are heavily processed which will be having a bigger impact on your health than anything else.

Average quality shilajit
I found the taste of this shilajit to be quite unpleasant, similar to other brands I have tried. It is slightly more liquid in consistency compared to other shilajit products, and I don't believe its quality is pure. there are definitely better alternatives available but for its price I would say to give it a try.

Interesting Vegan vitamin.
I have been taking Shilajit resin for a little while now, after my neighbours Dad recommended it a few weeks ago. This particular brand is similar in taste to previous ones l have tried, most look like marmite, this is very slightly runnier and although bitter in taste also has a very slight sweetness. It comes with a dinky spoon, and you only need a little. I take mine in my morning coffee.I started taking Shilajit as I am 58 and sometimes my energy levels dip, and this is supposed to support that, its also a restorative vitamin which helps with internal organs and skin and nails.I also take Ashwaganda tablets, which are similar to St John's Wort.Apparently if you mix Ashwaganda and Shiajit they are a good combination for positive thinking and well being.I think overall Shilajit is working for me, although it's only been a couple of weeks, l do feel l have more energy.I read that Shilajit doesn't go well if taken with citrus fruits as it may cause indigestion, but I haven't found this.....Overall I am very pleased I have found this little elixir and feel it is helping me.

Incredibly effective for energy levels but the taste is horrid!
Flowzuk's Original Himalayan Shilajit Resin is a standout product that has genuinely impressed me with its purity and effectiveness. Sourced directly from the high-altitude regions of the Himalayas, this organic shilajit resin is processed with meticulous care to maintain its authenticity and integrity. The absence of any additives or contaminants is a testament to the brand's commitment to delivering a product that's as close to nature as possible. The fact that it is certified organic, produced without synthetic chemicals or pesticides, instills confidence in its safety and natural composition. This Shilajit resin is a powerhouse of essential minerals and nutrients, notably rich in fulvic acid, iron, magnesium, and calcium. Incorporating it into my daily health regimen has contributed significantly to my overall vitality and well-being. These minerals are crucial for various bodily functions and have noticeably supported my physical and mental performance. Furthermore, its adaptogenic properties are a real boon, helping me better manage stress and maintain resilience in demanding situations. The immune-boosting potential of this natural compound is another benefit that cannot be overstated, especially in today's fast-paced and challenging lifestyle. However, a notable drawback is the taste, which can be off-putting for some. Despite its robust health benefits, including testosterone boosting and enhanced energy levels, the strong, earthy flavor might be a hurdle for those with sensitive palates. But considering its health benefits, this is a minor inconvenience that can be overlooked. I recommend this product to anyone seeking a natural boost to their health routine, particularly men looking for a natural way to enhance their energy and vitality. Flowzuk's Shilajit resin is indeed a potent health ally, despite its challenging taste.Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! :)
