THE GOOD: This unit charges my iPhone 8 Plus very fast, and I leave it in my Otterbox Defender case (it’s thick) when I place it on the charger. It’s about twice as fast charging as my wireless Samsung charger. Also this unit seems to charge my phone in any orientation that I place it on the charger, as long as it’s laying on the charger.THE NOT SO GOOD: The description says the light is sleep friendly. I don’t agree with this. With the charger plugged in, the indicator light on the rim/edge of the unit lights green. When you place the phone on it and the charging starts, the light turns blue. Either color, the light is bright. I usually put my phone to charge on my night stand when I’m going to bed for the night. With the lights out, this unit lights up most of the room, including the ceiling. I “fixed” it by putting 5 coats of white fingernail polish over the light. Now you can barely see just a faint glow... perfect.The other thing is that they only provide you with a USB to micro USB cable and no power source to plug into the wall. So you have to already own, or purchase a high amp output wall plug to plug the supplied cable into. Or no charging.

I needed a new charger to keep at my desk while I'm working. I figured a wireless charger would be convenient so I got this one. It charges my phone (S8 plus) fast even with the case on which is a problem I had in the past with other wireless chargers. It is too much trouble to take your case off just to charge your phone. One thing to note is that this does not come with a plug- only the USB cable so you will need your own plug.

The phone charges faster using a standard cable (ie: 2 hours left to charge using standard cable vs 3.5 hours left using the rapid charger) . .there is nothing rapid about this charger. It has been returned.

This charger works great! No problems charges fast. I've used it every day since I got it.

I have so many charging cords and adapters in my house that it's getting out of hand, so having this wireless charger is a sigh of relief. I love that I can now just sit my phone (Galaxy Note 8) on the charging pad and charge it without being tethered. It might take a little longer than my normal lightning charger cord, but I prefer the convenience over speed.The only problem I have with this charging pad is that the pad and your phone can overheat if you don't sit it on a well ventilated surface. I just sit it on my coin bank and it solved that problem...LoL! I keep it on the floor beside my bed, so it comes in handy. Otherwise, I love this thing!
