Just what I was looking for!
My son is playing the tuba this year in middle school. I needed to buy a beginners music book and instead of paying double the price at a fancy music store, I found this one here. It's the same book requested by his band teacher, with this price you can't beat it. Love it

Great beginners tuba book for band
Book is as described and is what my son needed for beginning band. I didn't get a CD like other people who reviewed though. I dont know if I was supposed too.

The delivery, book, and the cd were good. I had to find a fingering chart for the e flat tuba. Our beginning bad uses this book and it seems to work well for us.

Excellent book for starting out.
The Essential Elements for band is an well thought out method that can me used solely as an individual book or a whole band book. The book take the learner through the early stages of learning and if used with SmartMusic it enable excellent feed back. Excellent value for money and comes with a DVD(CD)
