I like the size, brightness, functionality, and design (for the most part) of this flashlight, but there are 2 issues I have. First, and slightly nitpicky, there isn't a hole for a keyring or the like. The clip can be put on a keyring, but it comes off easily. Secondly, and more important, using this as an edc flashlight, if I keep it on my keyring or even clip it inside my pocket it keeps turning itself on. I couldn't figure out how at first, but finally noticed that when it rubs against my knife/knife clip/keys that if metal contacts the cap and body of the flashlight that it triggers the switch. It may turn on while I'm walking or driving which is especially interesting if it goes into strobe mode! This not only drains the battery, but it has gotten hot enough that it melted a hole in the pocket of my shorts! I really want to like the light, but I will need to find something else that I can put on my keyring and it won't constantly be turning itself on.

I recently purchased this light during the black Friday sale, I was super excited to receive this light because it checked multiple boxes in what I look for in an edc pocket light.The Good: The lumen output is amazing for a light of this size, it has a more prominent hot spot with a good amount of “spill”, it also doesn’t get too hot while using on the higher brightness settings for longer periods of time. It fits great in the pocket and is very easy to carry and forget that you even have it on you.The Not So Good: I am not a huge fan of the on/off button on this light, it has a “clunky” or “mushy” feel to it instead of a nice positive click ( I know it’s a little nitpicky, but someone will appreciate this lol) I’ve also had this light inadvertently turn on in the pocket multiple times because the tail switch sits very proud of the end cap, it does have a lockout mode to prevent this from happening, however the user interface on this light is different than most lights I’ve carried and owned, and I’m honestly not a fan and is quite time consuming to go in and out of lockout mode. The changing of the different lumen outputs is not an easy simple click like I would prefer. That’s the biggest issue for me.The light seems very robust and built with quality and I’m sure this light would last a very long time. I would absolutely recommend this light for someone who doesn’t mind the small issues I have with it.

I wish I would of bought this light sooner. It has all the modes you need, and would want. Easy interface to get use to. Gets extremely right for such a small package. I have the unit with the rechargeable battery. So I can't speak for the non rechargeable unit. If you need a light I recommend it.

Awesome edc flashlight. Useful modes doesn’t make you cycle through 3000 modes to turn it off. Great battery life.Does get warm on turbo.If you’re on the fence buy it. You won’t regret it. Better then stream light and cheaper. Love thrunite products.
