I bought 2 of these lights, 1 for the utility room and 1 for the hallway. I installed the light in the utility room first. Installation was a breeze, but it only illuminates the immediate area where it's located, and it casts shadows on surrounding areas and objects. After that experiment I installed the light in the hallway. The hallway is a smaller area and the light is perfectly suited for that location. It's not too bright, and shadows are minimal. The light is about the size of a smoke detector, it fits flush against the ceiling, and it has a nice clean look. There's a millisecond lag when the light is powered on which is not a big deal. I recommend this light for above a sink, closets, entrance ways, hallways, or any small area where you want focused lighting.

Easy to install unless you have a lot of wires in your junction box already, like I did. Apart from that, I love these lights, bought two for outside our garage. Mine are connected via a wifi switch and they work great with no flickering. The light diffusion is perfect.I wanted low watts and low lumens to not bother my neighbors, and these lights were perfect for that.In the pictures, you can see the amount of light they put out, and one comparing these cool white with my daylight dusk to dawn lights.

I love how well this looks on the ceiling. My husband became quite frustrated with the installation. Our son stepped in and took over. Wasn’t to much of a struggle for him. My only drawback is that it is so bright

This light is really bright and great color and it's very easy to install if you have a Electrician background, ( always use a Electrician when needed)

Installed in a closet. This puts out far more light than I suspected it would. Easy installation though I had an electrician doing it as part of some renovation we were completing.

This ceiling fixture looks good (clean and minimalist) and casts a bright white light. However, installation is very difficult due to a poorly designed connection between the mounting bracket (which screws to the ceiling electrical box) and the fixture itself. I am quite handy - I’ve built furniture and doors, and installed dozens of electrical fixtures. This one is just not well designed. The fixture is not sitting floor sh with or tight to the ceiling, as was presumably intended. I purchased one with the plan of buying several more if I was pleased with it. I’m not buying any more.

Luv these lights; replaced entire house from soft white to daylight; what a difference! Perfect for staircase in basement without decorative hanging glass lights you have to clean every month; maintenance free no bulb changing for 25,000 hours; add LED dimmers to adjust your brightness. Swap out time from old fixture to new is about 5-8 minutes.

STOP! Don't buy. Pick another product on Amazon and try it. The mounting mechanism on these are a horrible design. You mount the base plate and then the light itself is supposed to snap in. Look for one that you can take the lens off and put a screw in or that twists around a bolt that is on the mounting box. These things do not sit flush to the ceiling because you can't get the thing on correctly. I put up a lot of lights. I got these up but I will never order again. Good luck.
