Probably THE definitive guide to Safari's in Tanzania! Taking out all available books in local libraries was impressed with this (book 7), and so purchased latest edition 8. Very descriptive of areas, very good animal reference section with some great photos, good travel advice, hotels and restaurants, and great to use as a reference book. The main emphasis is on the safari, as Tanzania is fast rivalling Kenya and South Africa. Also a detailed coverage of Zanzibar, as many people look to the beautiful beaches and Stone Town after safari. Invaluable to plan your Tanzania adventure.
