Hutzler Grapefruit Saver, 2 Grapefruit Spoons and 1 Grapefruit Knife, Stainless Steel, Serrated Edges

These specialized spoons and knives used to be available everywhere. As with so many things, this is not the case anymore. They are of good quality, and do the job splendidly. The grapefruit (or 1/2 grapefruit) container is ideal, and stores the fruit well overnight. Some reviewers had trouble with the lid, but it should be mentioned that the lid is designed to fit on at certain positions, and then rotate about a quarter turn and lock, sealing the top tightly. Works for me!

This order was two spoons and a knife, for grapefruit. The spoons are fine, sharply pointed with serrated edges. The knife, however, is worse than useless. No point, and a blade that's way too thick. I would not recommend this purchase.

It's great to have a container to put the leftover grapefruit in and it keeps in the fridge much longer. The spoons cut right thru the "skin" as does the knife, and makes it quick and easy to get all the grapefruit out of the rind. However, I'm only giving this item 4 stars instead of 5 because when I received the kit, the knife was bent at the tip and I couldn't straighten it out. I didn't return it because it would have been too much trouble, and besides, the knife still works adequately even with the bend in it.

I pack half a grapefruit in my lunch box everyday and was so excited to find this cute little set. The spoons are perfect, I don’t use the knife but it’s just as expected. The bowl is the perfect shape and size and is really easy to eat out of but does tend to be a bit leaky. Daily lunch box washes required! That being said, still may favorite bowl to eat grapefruit from.

I generally eat the whole grapefruit, so I haven't tried out the "grapefruit saver" yet. But I've used the knife and two spoons now, and they work great. I highly recommend this product. Very satisfied!

Just bought it for the knife and spoons, but the container is quite nice. You can put a half grapefruit in it and take it for lunch or a snack. A great gift.

Perfect set for grapefruit

Totally surprised what a difference they made than just a knife! Storage half is easy to use and saves lots of plastic wrap. Thank you.
