I know it stated not to be used on painted wall, but it has stuck firmly,I only have a couple of hand towels on it so that probably helps.

Does the job

We bought this to go in our refurbished bathroom. We followed the instructions to the letter and stuck the rail on the tiled wall and left it for 48hrs. I placed 2 hand towels on the rail and the net day it fell off the wall. I re-stuck it leaving it for 72hrs. I then placed 1 and towel on it. 2 days later it fell off the all again. I will have to look at an alternative.

Packaged well in a bag within the box and I liked the brushed steel so I've given 2 stars for that. Considering the packaging It should have been in perfect condition, but one side was not in alignment with the other side. I thought it might still be ok, but because it was the part that sticks to the wall it not only made a difficult task of trying to get the towel rail on straight, when I eventually achieved it the parts stuck to the wall looked obviously wonky. I tried to put up with it but after a few hours I pulled it off, along with some new paint work. I was annoyed, but there's far worse things to bother about in the world to sweat the small stuff. I just really wish faulty/damaged items werent sold and sent out to unsuspecting customers, I find that really disgraceful.

what a heap of junk

Works well on my painted cabinet. Place it exactly correct because there's no chance of moving it even a little bit once placed without irreparably ruining the adhesive. But if you do mess up, they included two extra adhesive pads. If you're left with extras, these pad could be useful in other contexts. MUCH stronger than normal tape. Mine have been up for several weeks and are working well. As with many adhesive pads, hold them in place tightly for a good minute and don't hang anything on it for 24 hrs. You'll get a much stronger, longer-lasting hold if you follow that instruction.

Toallero resistente, lleva varios meses y no tiene pinta de desprenderse. Se coloca con facilidad y el adhesivo parece fuerte, solo creo que hay que seguir las instrucciones. Bonito y práctico, parece de buena calidad.
