Just the ticket to adapt 1993 Lexmark Model M keyboard with 5-pin DIN connector to USB.
My son acquired a 1993 Lexmark Model M keyboard that was headed for disposal. Unlike my IBM Model M keyboards which have PS/2 connectors, this one has a 5-pin DIN connector. The Soarer's converter cable works well so far to keep this classic keyboard in service.

Very happy.
Does the job perfectly even though reprogramming them isn't a great deal of fun (read sharktastica's guide if you're stuck). There is a gentleman on eBay who sells different versions of these and there is this seller on Amazon. Otherwise you're left building your own which is easier said than done.

Used with an old BTC keyboard for curiosity and testing purposes. No issues at all, everything works as expected.

Brings my 90’s keyboard back to life
I didn’t mess with any firmware. I just plug the adapter from the keyboard to the computer and it worked. I have windows 11. Not sure if it works with Apple
