Rick Steves Best of Italy

This was our Bible as we planned and then took our first trip to Italy. His suggestions are right on. We loved the self guided walks that he suggested and saved on hiring a tour guides.

I took this book with me when my sister and I visited Italy this summer. I loved the information that it had on every place we visited.

Used this every day. A wealth of information. I read there is a new version out, so check it out before you buy this version.

When traveling to a new place, the first thing I always do is buy a Rick Steves book. In my eyes, it's the best out there and has never sent me in the wrong direction. I appreciate all the details they keep up with to help us have a smooth journey on our own. Fan of these books forever!

Great resource for going abroad

This book provides you with all of the information needed to plan your trip to Italy.

Great informational book on Italy. Lots of tips and information to organize a trip yourself or supplement a guided tour vacation. Definitely recommend.

This book came highly recommended and I see why. We are planning our first trip in September and the information on line is so overwhelming. This book is extremely well organize by city, activities, meals, tours and everything else you would want to know. I will buy his books whenever I go on a vacation far away.

Great book

Lots of advice and detail, will be taking with us later this year on our second trip to Itlaly and using for Sorento, Pompey, Capricorn and the Amalfi coast.

Excellent travel book-- easy and interesting read. Many quick pointers, and several different agendas for "must see" depending on the length of your trip. Great help with planning!

Enjoy this book. It hits highlights of destinations without too much history and extra info I can get online.

The print could be a little darker and or a little bigger. The lighting has to be perfect or it’s a challenge to read. Not an easy book to sit down and read for hours because the print is just too small. I know they want to pack a lot in but not all travellers have the eyesight of 20 year old
