First of all the original rating I would have given this would have been 3 stars due to having to work on it before we could even use it because of a manufacturing defect. The reason it's getting a 5 star review instead is because not only did the company respond very quickly when I wrote to address the issue we had they went above and beyond to make it right and sent us a new one on their dime. The customer service is exceptional and this is such a cool water gun for a great price...we ordered 3 water guns and have had a blast playing with them... the battery takes around 3 hours to charge and lasts for about 1 1/2 - 2 hours before it needs a recharge. I think that a 35 or 40 foot claim for the range for the water shot from it is a pretty far stretch.... it's easily 20 to 25 foot consistently but I can't see it being 40 foot based on our usage with it .... still a super fun toy and it's awesome for summer time games outside. It holds a good bit of water but having the extra bottle on top makes a huge differance with less frequent refills.... cool product , great value and company A++

Bought one and a few other automatic squirt guns to try out. This one works pretty well and the extra bottle is nice so I can blast my kids with more water between fill ups. It probably doesn't shoot as far or as much volume of water with each squirt as a manual pump but shoots about a burst a second so its quicker. We have used it 3 or 4 times and so far its fun to use and not as expensive as some of the others.

Works great and holds a lot of water

I was amazed at this water gun. It's great that you can take a water bottle and insert it into the top for a long shooting game. The kids loved it. It's a cool summer outdoor game! Overall, this is a really fun squirt gun that comes at a good price point.

I use this when the snow accumulates on my satellite dish. I fill it with hot water and keep shooting until the snow drops off.

The media could not be loaded. Update: Sellers reached out to me and after some attempts to figure what was wrong with the first gun, they sent a replacement. Replacement gun is working good so far. My kid is desperate to get through a 2 liter of soda so he can have the bottle to attach for more ammo. lol It fires very quickly and goes through a LOT of water.Original gun worked good for about 20 minutes. Now it acts like it won’t prime. It just dry fires.

I got this water gun to play with our 3-year-old grandson when he comes to the farm on hot days. I had high hopes, but this thing is a disappointment. The internal reservoir doesn't hold much water, so it constantly has to be refilled. I located a used water bottle to screw into the top port for extra volume. The gun is not well balanced with a full bottle on top, so he had trouble manipulating it until the bottle was down to about half volume. Plus the port leaks like crazy and half the water poured down his front. I'm thinking that this unit had been returned by someone else and then shipped out to me, because the inside was wet when it arrived. For what it is and what it should do, this toy does not measure up. Granted, the description does say ages 8-12, but the issues we had with this gun are not age-related.

i like the fact that it comes with two battery packs, shoots far enough to get dogs attention
