STERILITE 4 Drawer Wide Weave Tower, Espresso - 1 Pack

I had a 4 drawer Sterilite chest that I bought about ten years ago with which I was quite happy. I was expecting this to be similar. It is, quite frankly, junk. The top detached when I was unboxing it and the bottom drawer section fell off when I moved it. It is in one piece now, but barely. I won’t return it as it would likely be more trouble than it’s worth, but I am most disappointed.

The drawers look great and fit in my closet perfectly. I was looking for CHEAP drawers that didn't break the wallet. I live in an apartment so it helps to organize the small closet I have! Lol. These drawers fit a lot too! One thing I will say is the drawers arent so sturdy to open and you may need to wiggle (a bit) the more weight you add buttttt I'm okay with doing that for the price! Just fyi the 2nd pic shows the other two set of smaller drawers I bought and stacked on top of each other.

First things first, this product looks AMAZING in the pictures. But when using it, you'll notice how cheap the material is. In addition to having extremely cheap material, you'll notice that there isn't any mechanical flow when pulling the drawers out. There's nothing in place to keep it from just sliding out of the hole, which is extremely frustrating. In hindsight, I should have paid a little more and bought a wooden version of this. I regret this purchase.

I definitely like this product clearly I ordered four. With that being said they do come apart very easy, example moving them from one place to the other. So need to work on the durability. Excellent product I must say would I purchase it again yes! Warning!!!!!!! don't use these to move not strong enough. They break apart very easy and crack.

Exactly what I was looking for! These are awesome and looks great too! They hold so much the drawers are nice and deep and roomy! What’s nice is that it doesn’t look cheap like some other plastic drawer systems. I love that the drawers have handles. The ordering and delivery was easy and fast I highly recommend!! My review is NOT a reflection on the seller that I this purchased from!! They shipped it out quickly and it arrived when they said it would. I do like this product but the plastic isn't as sturdy as I would like it. It's a bit flimsy compared to Sterlite's older models. I can't have much on top or it causes it to sag and makes it harder to close the top drawer. It has the right amount of space for what I need it for. I wish Sterilte would use thicker and sturdier plastics like they used to with their older products. I have an organizer made by them that I purchased 20 years ago and it's much sturdier than the ones they make now.

Expresso, 4 Drawer Wide WeaveLooks good from a distance, but up close it looks like cheap, thin, stamped plastic. I bought it for its looks and to stash items in the living room, and it looks ok, but trying to use it is another story. The plastic, except for the basket weave drawer fronts, is not much thicker than a plastic water bottle. Opening a drawer is a real shock as the whole unit shakes and sways. The plastic is so thin on the drawer bottoms that I could not place the battery backup in one. The drawers are just thin plastic, riding on thin plastic. I expect any amount of heat will warp the whole thing, so I did not put it where the sun will hit it.I expected it to be all plastic, but I never dreamed a company would try to sell something that is meant to hold items stamped of such thin plastic. The unit barely stands on its own, never mind using the top shelf for anything but a couple of magazines. I would have paid more for better plastic. I have older units in white for the laundry room by this same company that I bought decades ago and the plastic is at least three times thicker. Hence, I expected the same here.Buying this sort of unit these days means either this thin, cheap stamped plastic or heavy, build-it-yourself cheap particleboard with paper slapped on it to make it look like wood. Real furniture is expensive and hard to find.Of course, the problem is that profit is the bottom line these days as it is with just about everything. Profits go up and quality goes down. Welcome to the 21st century.

I have another sterile 4 drawer same design but the one I bought from Amazon is more spacious. The drawers are wider, deeper and easier to open and close. I see the difference in height as well. Overall it was a great buy and I would definitely buy another one in the future.
