non-existent customer service
I give this two stars because overall the product works as advertised. I have not been overly impressed with battery performance, but it functions. My biggest gripe is with Kisae customer service, or really the complete lack thereof. If anyone has ever received an inquiry reply from them, please speak up. I cannot get them to answer any question. My unit did not come with a solar panel, so I was trying to get them to tell me what I could buy (even hinted at a juicy sell for them), but that couldn't even get Kisae Technology to reply. I have another unit from Nature Power I bought after this, and it is essentially identical. It was probably manufactured in the same plant. Nature Power has been a lot better about answering questions. I would recommend you buy from them as opposed to Kisae Technology. I am definitely not the only person to experience the issue. The forums are riddled with others who experienced the same issue, which you can verify on your own.

Nature Power 40402 1800 Watt Power Kit
So far, I like the unit. It does have a fan that runs for short time after hooking up to electricity. Fan sound isn't real loud in my opinion. Only dislike is the weight of the battery. Bought it because our electricity goes out all the time, but haven't used it the that reason yet. Did buy solar panels to go with the unit, waiting on the charge controller to come in, so I can hook up the unit. The cord from the battery to the solar panels is only 20-30 feet long, may be limited where to put battery & solar panels.

Peace of mind in a storm
This unit is great. When the power went out for a time it was great to be able to plug in a heater and not have a cold house, and to be able to cook food as well.It was still doing it's job when the lights came back on hours later. I would like a couple more for my office and the barn.

Ready for the Mayan Calendar to end
It does what it says. My only gripe is the noisy fan when it's floating during a charge. I recommend it though.
