The bike does what it is supposed to do but could be better.
This is my first ebike so I am not an expert on them. The bike was delivered ahead of schedule and was well packed and protected. It took little time to assemble (but see last para below) and give it a try. The bike comes with the battery fully charged. Initial thoughts were good, you can realy feel the pedal assist and with 3 levels available it is easy to settle on a speed or effort that suits you. Its hill climbing appears quite good, getting me up a fairly steep hill that I would never dream of attempting on pedals alone. The cable disc brakes are adequate, but not great. The overall finish of the bike is good and it does fold to a small but heavy package though it needs a bit or foam between the forks and frame to prevent bolt heads rubbing the paint. The 7 speed gears are great, one click for up one for down, easy. On the down side, I think the display is poor. The characters are small and in bright daylight it is a bit difficult to see. The worst aspect though is the two buttons used to control the assist level etc. they are so small and close together they are not easy to use. I think in winter wearing gloves it may not be possible to use at all. That is not my giggest complaint however, look at the two photos, The first photo is inside the top of the seat tube mount in the frame, look how rough the finish is. Not seeing this at first, I fitted the seat as per the instructions, and spent some time adjusting the height, then saw the deep scratches that were being cut on the black finish of the seat tube. (second photo). This is unnaceptable for a brand new item and indicates poor quality control. I was able to smooth out the roughness with a file but the damage to the seat tube finish had already been done. This is my main reason for only giving 3 stars.

Light, quite, quick
Very light to carry on the stairs. Looks nice and easy to ride. Battery lasts forever.
