Bought them for my husband because he was getting attacked by biting flies when he mowed. Today he mowed 1/2 the yard without the dragon flies & got attacked. Second half of the lawn mowing, wearing the dragon flies, NOT A SINGLE FLY landed on him!

They were just delivered today. The wires for these are attached to the hat clamp using hot melt adhesive. All three the hot melt had fallen off, in the package, even before it was opened. The manufacturer should have it soldered or twist connected. No way hot melt glue would hold up for this application. Poor design. You’re already paying for someone to assemble these things in China. Why not do it right. I’ll be fixing them before giving them a test try to deter deer flies

So I just did a twilight walkabout the garden with my new faux dragonfly on my hat. I heard 3 mosquitoes. Shook my head and waved my dragonfly around when I heard them. I got bitten zero times! Normally I would have been eaten alive and chased out of the garden by the constant mosquitoes.

It was difficult to find places outside that the clips would stay on. One broke in some wind. The product did not keep the mosquitoes away at my house.

Very happy with these. I purchased to keep horse and deer flies from bothering my horses. So far so good.

Shouldn’t have even been charged 5 bucks for this. It’s cheap garbage, don’t waste your time with buying this. It’s barely functional and broke on the first use. And I wasn’t expecting much but damn. You’d have better luck at the dollar store.
