I spent a good while looking for squared-off lens protectors, and well, I found these after said amount of time spent searching. And I gotta say, the quality is quite good. Mounts are sturdy, the glass is clear even when scratched, but the only gripe I have is that the ball bearing is a little icky. It's not much of a problem tho because I keep the covers up 24/7 anyway.

It is really great to use. I use it on my M4 Airsoft gun for my red dot. The length of it is helpful for other types of sights and it also makes my face feel safer when I’m aiming because of the length and width of it. It’s super easy to flip up and down for travel and in use purposes. The actual protector parts are super easy to change out and it even comes with a spare. Which is good because I accidentally broke my first one. (Running through trees recklessly). You can put it practically anywhere on your gun rail. I support this product and recommend it to anyone who plays Airsoft. It’s important to use these items especially for indoor games. I will definitely be coming back for more in the future.

It’s does help. The lens is a bit thin. It is very clear. I have my red dot sight on a one inch riser and this covers it without putting the shield unit on a riser. The problem is that the manufacturer does not sell replacement shields. I had to buy a complete unit in order to get more shields. When these shields are gone I will buy the rounded style. I can easily get replacements for them.

Easy to install. The only con is once it is installed the protective shield flips up when using your weapon and down when not in use. The shield has a slight wobble making one feel that it will easily break when out in the field.

I opened these about 2 minutes ago and found that BOTH lenses were scratched up on both sides.

First: I get such a kick at reading the negative reviews lol. And I quote: "You cannot see through the clear lens." Umm... peal off the vinyl that prevents it from scratching while in production Dimwit! Second: Better quality than I expected. Should work perfectly.

It does what it designed to do, stopping BB's from damaging your optics. Works like a charm

People complain about the shield getting broken when hit by BBs don't understand that's what they are meant for. This thing will save your sight, plain and simple. If the first shield breaks, put on a new one, if that one breaks too buy more or just make some out of cheap plexy glass. All expenses invested into this thing is better than having you 300$ sight glass cracked by a BB.
