These stainless steel cubes do a perfect job of keeping a cool temperature on your whiskey for a remarkably long period of time. And, without diluting the goods! Excellent product!

These cubes are enormous; don't expect more than one cube in a glass of whiskey, even in the largest glasses. However, they are very effective, lowering the temperature of a half-glass of water from 22.5 C (72.5 F) to 15.5 C (59.9 F) in about 3 minutes. I made these tests after placing the stone in my home freezer for 8 hours, so the liquid inside the stone was cold enough (-15 C). This performance is good enough for me and ranks among the most effective stones I own. However, to lower the temperature further, you must switch to a second stone after a few minutes. The price is fair. I received only one stone in the box because someone, somewhere, stole the other one. Or it came missing from the factory. I cannot tell. But the gift box is not sealed, so anyone along the way can open it and remove the stones. Not good. I exchanged it through Amazon for another one, which did contain the two stones. I was annoyed and inconvenienced to have to return it, which could have been avoided had the manufacturer done a better job making the box tamper-proof. So, I give it four stars.

I’m unable to drink alcohol so I got these for my husband. Here is what he said about these cubes:“So, let's get on the same page from the start! First, these are not ice cube substitutes. If you like mixed drinks (i.e., rum and coke, vodka and tonic, etc.) I don't think you're going to be particularly enthralled by these chillers, because they don't get your drink anywhere near "ice cold" (again, they aren't ice)!However, if you're into scotch (especially single malts, my favorite), bourbon, Jack Daniels, whiskey, tequila, vodka, or anything else that you prefer to drink straight, we all know that unless you drink it neat, adding ice eventually waters down your drink, so that it continually "changes" from start to finish. Not so with these chillers! It adds just the right amount of coolness and maintains it until you're ready to pour yourself another! Just pop them in the freezer for a few hours (I've found that using just one does the trick for me) and you're good to go!A word of caution! Remember, these are not ice cubes. They are metal cubes (very nicely designed metal cubes, but metal nonetheless) so you can't just "drop" them into a glass like ice without risking breakage.”

These look nice in a glass but they don't really make the drink cold, nor do they stay cool for long. I would not buy again and frankly I stop using them. Sorry

Definitely easy to use and clean, and keeps my whiskey cold longer without watering it down.

These are rather big rocks and you only need to use one per glass. They don’t come with a container for the freezer, so we just put them in our ice tray and grab them when we need them.They are very smooth and easy to clean and handle. They are not heavy at all.

Fresh out of the box, these stainless ice cubes had a couple cosmetic imperfections. For something that's supposed to go in my drinks, that's a bit disappointing. However, they do look nice apart from the scuffs, and I didn't notice any off taste. They are not solid stainless, they are full of liquid, but they still keep an adult beverage nice and chilled without watering it down. The faces are slightly curved and so are the corners, which helps keep it from sticking to the bottom of the glass or smashing my lips and teeth. They do have some weight to them, but not as much as soap stone ones.

I have always wanted ice cubes such as these. Easy to pop into the freezer. Freezes quickly. Keeps drink cold without watering it down. Can be used with alcohol, which may be its primary purpose, but work great in iced tea. Nothing worse than watered down iced tea. Another plus, that I wouldn't have thought of, it's very silent. There's no clinking of ice against the glass. Pour in a hot beverage, drop in one of these cubes, or two, and have a cold drink almost instantly. Wonderful product.
