BACKING COMES OFF
I’m an idiot. I wrote a bad review for the product (lamp? I’m not sure exactly what to call it) because it looked nothing like what the pictures showed. The front had a paper cover that was obviously meant to be peeled off. It stuck out beyond the picture so you could grab it and easily peel it off. But there was also a brown backing on the other side. It did not look like you could peel it off. There were no words or pictures on the plain brown backing. It looked like part of the lamp and looked nothing like the front cover that was peeled off. See pic. In the dark it looked pretty bad too. I thought the product pics on Amazon were a lie and I was disappointed.BUT…I decided to try to peel off what looked like the permanent backing. It was hard to get a corner to lift up (keep in mind I still thought it was an actual backing and was trying to be super careful). Once I got a corner lifted I could tell the whole thing was able to come off. Now it actually looks just like the pics from Amazon (see last pic attached to this review).To summarize - my son loves it. It looks great. PEEL OFF BOTH COVERS (front and back).

At first I was confused when I opened it, then realized that the plastic had a brown looking film that needed to be peeled off of it to keep it from being scratched in shipping. It was well packaged!

Awesome light ship
Love this spaceship lamp. The colors are vibrant and easy to change or remain stable. The base hold the glass which has a faint Enterprise on it. But when you put the light on, WOW, its gorgeous. I absolutely loved it. I used as a table decoration for a star trek party. I highly recommend it.
