Who's A Cheeky Monkey? A Ladybird Hand Puppet Book

This book is much more attractive than it appears in the photo. The muzzle of the monkey is made of soft plush material and, by inserting your hand at the back of the book, it becomes a puppet which you can move so he "speaks" as you read monkey's words on each page. The pages are brightly illustrated board with a central hole which slips over the monkey puppet. My two year old grandson thought it was hilarious, and was happy to try his hand in the puppet. The text gives you some funny words and a short story, which is good as toddlers like familiar stories, but the reader can tailor the monkey's speech to suit the little listener. My grandson likes the "cheeky monkey" so we made it silly and giggly.

Great fun book and my daughter still can't work out where the monkey gets in from the back of the book. Not many pages though so doesn't last long.

Bought for my 16 month old granddaughter ! She loves it and it is now one of her favourite books ! She loves the monkey and kisses him ! Also loves looking for all the animals and finding the ladybirds ! Recommended for little ones and very robust for small hands

my granson loves this book and so do I there is very little text so you make the story anything you like to maintain the interest, he tries to "feed" the monkey all sorts !
