Evidently should not be used on bleached hair. It turned blue instead of green, not what I was hoping for but still a lovely colour and absolutely my own mistake

My hair is naturally black, I knew I needed to lighten/bleach it beforehand so I did. This took it to a medium dark ginger. I understand this has a lot of warm tones and would potentially need toning. Anyway, I applied Urban Brown from roots to ends, hoping to create some depth or deeper tone transition. My whole head just turned out like this. My hair was throughly washed with shampoo after the bleaching process, I don’t know why the colour didn’t take. I really thought it was going to work for me as everybody’s reviews are great! I might try it again one day in the future because I do love the colour on the box and would love to see it work :)

It's not something I've used before and won't again left on for longer than desirable time because I could still see grey it hasn't covered all grey and gave me hot roots so I've got to now stick a darker brown to sort it out

A nice rich brown not too much red or gold but not dull either, shiny finish, hair in good condition after application. Comes up quite dark but after a wash or two fades to a flattering soft tone that is still quite rich. Do a strand test if your hair is light or grey (definitely do one if hair is highly lightened, bleached of treated with henna as the mix grabs quickly). Don't panic, mix goes darker over time. I'd say this is a darkish brown, Level 3. One of the nicest browns I've used on my own medium brown hair with 10% grey. People think it's natural! For a warmer tone, try one of the reds. Elle, UK.
