I purchased this product to convert my Samsung Tizen tv to an Android TV and I must say it works perfectly with very little lag if any (maybe a little in the first few seconds whilst it’s still booting), streaming video from apps/services is flawless with zero buffering (dependent on your internet speed of course) I have 100mb/s and can stream 4K, it can be ran straight from the 5v-1A usb and to the HDMI at the rear of the TV, but if you have a tv that wakes in the background while in standby it can activate the USB ports on the back of the tv powering the Android TV device which will turn your tv and device on and out of standby (TV turning back on randomly) so you would need to power it directly from a wall socket. Would I recommend this device, my answer is yes I would recommend this device if you are looking to converting a monitor or tv to Android TV.

Early days, I like it so far except that it is 64bit running in 32bit mode.

Really small overheat really quick and it was really slow to load and load videos when I've got full fibre 150mbps and this toy box was running on WiFi as too small to have another connection the internet was like 800kpbs- 1mbps which was an joke. So I don't recommend this item to no one!

This is a brilliant little box for anyone wanting the android tv setup, without forking out for the more expensive nvidia shield (which are waaaay overpriced). The ui isn’t slow or laggy, you can navigate and type in passwords etc at a really fast speed, surprisingly fast for the price. Does everything a shield can just doesn’t have as many settings to play with. Definitely get one if all you wanna do is stream. Fantastic device.

Works as good as original remote, everything in the same place bar two buttons, no lag. Only thing was a dent at the top, didn't look cracked but certainly a making error.

I ordered this along with a portable monitor to use in my kitchen so that I can watch cooking videos while making food.The size of the TV box is actually tiny, maybe 3x3 inches square. Don’t let the size put you off though, it’s a good tv box at a great price. Works perfectly for watching Netflix, YouTube, prime video and many other apps.Power consumption is next to nothing, I can power both this and my portable gaming monitor with a single usb c 20w power adapter. I measured the wattage of both devices at 15w and the tv box alone at 2-3w.If I have any complaints it’s the cable end it uses; micro-USB to be exact. It’s an old cable technology and prone to breaking so I would urge the manufacturer to switch to USB-C as early as possible for this reason.Aside from that, it’s a good tv box, not super snappy by any means but it will allow you to watch online tv apps through a tv and also, if used with a portable monitor like mine; it can be taken on the go for use in a car or even on a long train journey when powered with a power bank and connected to a hotspot.
