i really like how it works & it is made very well - would make an excellent gift for someone that truly enjoys to stay home and pamper oneself after a hard day at work. the relax factor of this bowl is ideal for healing negative thought processes of getting oneself to a safe & calm environment. i really like this product but if you want something say larger to fit on your lap go for a two sizes up:)

It doesn’t work
The metal is way too thick. As a result, it doesn’t sing. I’ve had singing bowls before, so I know how they are meant to work. It’s a shame, as I’m going to buy a new one.

Beautiful
As soon as I opened the box I fell in love with this singing bowl. It’s small enough to fit in the palm and has a very soothing sound. Wonderful for meditation. Highly recommended!

Size; YMMV
The bowl I received is not 3.5 inches, it is 2.75 inches. To a common sense person that isn't within an 'approximate' range of 3.5 inches. Sounds OK for what it is.I was about to submit the review, but then put down the phone. I measured the bowl again to find it is still 2.75 inches. I released an audible sigh. I am annoyed.

A Class Favorite For Settling After Recess
For three years now, my first graders have absolutely loved listening to the singing bowl after recess as we refocus back to learning. Every year I have had a parent or two tell me their child wanted one of their own which they then purchased. I am now switching out of the classroom and into a small group setting. I hope to get just as much use, maybe more, next year!

Gong bell on my mantle
This is a strange one. It’s loud and unique. If you give it as a gift it will grow on them. Is it hipster? Who cares. I’m not a hipster yoga person. I love it. It’s on my mantle. The tone is great.
