I just ordered an Agro 3 Pack, consisting of one package of Savory Original, one package of Grilled Teriyaki and one package of Texas BBQ. I bought it through Amazon and was offered a free 30 day subscription to Amazon prime and, much to my surprise the package came the very next day. I do a lot of cross country skiing with friends and always enjoy bringing small, not bulky, lightweight snacks with me , together with plenty of cold water. This is important since , when we are skiing we usually are far from any place that sells these types of refreshments. Shortly, after receiving the package, I went skiing with friends and brought the three separate packages with me. We all enjoyed sharing these three small packages. I preferred the Savory Original flavor; some of the others preferred the Texas BBQ and the Grilled Teriyaki. We all agreed that these plant-based jerkies were great and a perfect delicious and filling snack for a day of Cross Country skiing. I ordered three similar packages, I believe, a few months ago and, if I remember properly, while I liked the flavor of those items, I thought that the pieces were a bit dry and many were broken into little pieces. This was not the case with my recent order. All of the products were very moist, all the pieces seem to be unbroken and the flavors were even better than I remembered. We all highly recommend all of these flavors to anyone who enjoys being outside, whether to ski, bike ride, or hike and wants to bring with them delicious, lightweight, and non-bulky snacks, which do not take out much space in small day backpacks

I purchased a variety pack and was more than pleasantly surprised. Argo’s taste was simply amazing. And I was expecting a not so good texture and was amazed at the texture of all three varieties. Great product that’s good for my body and great for the environment!

The seasoning/flavors are bold and flavorful, and it has a nice smoky, savory taste that satisfies - even if it’s not an exact match for beef jerky. Good snack for a vegan option.

I have a friend who has to lessen their red meat consumption because of health reasons. So, I was on the prowl to find some jerky as a gift for them. I purchased the Savory original flavor. My best friend, niece, and I all tried it. Our opinions varied. My niece thought it was “weird.” My best friend thought it was great and ate the entire bag. I definitely did not care for it much.Pros: Good flavor- original tasted a lot like it had a barbecue base actually. Good protein content. First bite has the texture of real jerky.Cons: After initial bite, it becomes dry and chalky. Almost reminds me of what that pink house insulation would taste like if you were to eat it (and I don’t mean the light, cotton candy fluff texture). Cost - I know jerky is expensive, and eating meat alternatives is far from cheap. I just can’t get past the price point for the quantity you receive.I think the quality is probably good for someone who never eats meat, but for someone who does, this just isn’t it.

The Texas BBQ flavor was outstanding! By far my favorite. Teriyaki and the original flavors were also good. I don't eat a lot of vegan snacks and usually I'm put off by the texture. The texture for this jerky is close to the texture of regular jerky. It has a nice toughness, but you can tell its not real meat.

This is a delicious healthy snack. I loved the teriyaki flavor and thought the texture was satisfying. Overall its a quality treat and great source of protein that I’ll be adding to my snack cabinet.

I am impressed by the nutrient profile of this vegan jerky and was attracted to try it largely based on that factor. So the idea of this jerky is positive, but the product itself I find vile. When I opened the bag I was displeased with the pungent “natural” smoke aroma. Not that animal protein jerky is attractive, but this vegan jerky looks even less desirable. The texture is both sticky and gummy to chew, neither of which are pleasant in the mouth. The price for two bags is comparable to meat jerky. I am definitely giving the remainder of my open bag as well as the second unopened bag away to someone who may find this more tasty than I did. I applaud the creators of this jerky, but it doesn’t work for me.

I tried the plant-based jerky, and it was decent overall. The flavor was good but could have been stronger, lacking a bit of depth. The texture, unfortunately, was off—chewy but a little too dry. While it was solid, I’ve found other brands to be better (like the Beyond jerky).
