This was the chocolate of my childhood. Have not been able to purchase locally, so I was happy to find it online. Tastes delicious and brings back memories of earlier days.Update: A second shipment was a gift for a family member in NY. When she arrived home from work, the package had been opened by some neighborhood squirrels who apparently like chocolate mexicano, too. She was able to rescue one package and half of the other two.

This brought back me so many memories. I grew up with this brand of Mexican hot chocolate and when they stopped selling at my local supermarket, I was very disappointed. One day, I just happened to put in the name in the search bar and it came up. I was so excited. Thanks Amazon!

this is the chocolate beverage of my childhood. there is no more comforting or better tasting chocolate beverage made. i'm not a chocoholic, but this is so soothing and just right for a before bedtime cuppa cocoa. no marshmallows necessary! use whole milk and a bit of heavy cream, and whip it up just before serving. you'll become addicted! particularly in cold or rainy weather. it makes your brain produce some great endorphins.
