Misleading information
This is listed as 550 grit, when it should be listed as #550 shot as the sizes are very different. Grit size gets smaller as the numerical value increases, and shot size gets larger as the numerical value increases. BIG DIFFERENCE. I returned it.

Makes great dust shot for my pellet gun
Using this to reload pellet gun shot shells. Was going to use #12 lead shot but it's hard to get & very expensive on account of the minimum quantity plus shipping. The diameter of this 550 grit is pretty close to #12 lead. Shooting carpenter bees off my deck at point blank range. Works some of the time & I'm not spraying lead all over the place.

Perfect for speaker stands
If you are looking to fill speaker stands then look no more. Get this! My steel shot weighed 55 pounds and free shipping. I measured the volume too and came up with 280 pounds per cubic ft. So that's almost .2 cubic foot of shot. Great product!
