Great for beginner to intermediate
You never stop learning when you play drums.Simple tuition in written form. Some really good rudiments exercises to help cement your rudiment skills AND to learn new grooves and fills.I'm grade 3 and found the content really helpful and laid out in such a way that made learning things - and thus cementing my core memory, very useful.A good book to learn once - and to go back to time and time again.

Practice slowly. You cannot play a piece of music fast until you've perfected it slowly.
Very good, it helps to gradually stretch your abilities, teaching your brain to see the rudiments required to get your hands and feet to adapt gradually. You cannot run until you can walk, which is where people get frustrated, thinking they are not good enough when you are not giving your brain time to adapt to what's required to get your hands and feet.

Had problems downloading audio, but quickly resolved by vendor.Audio gives each rudiments at 2 speeds, then examples of how to use them. Very Good.

Great book covering all rudiments - but some minor printing mistakes
I am using this book as my authoritative source for the 40 rudiments. It is complete, yet concise. I did see a minor print mistake in at least one of the notations, but it is very minor and obvious (missing a hi-hat stroke). I still consider this book a must have, and great value for price.

Il libro contiene molte pagine vuote con spazi larghi e pochi spartiti ed esercizi. Ingannato dalle recensioni l'ho voluto provare. Buono per allievi principianti, ma per un profesisonista i metodi per batteria validi li conosciamo già tutti (stick control, syncopation, gary chaffe, new breed, wilcoxon ecc..) e questi libretti che ora girano su amzon sono solo delle prese per i fondelli fatte per spillare soldi.Di scarsa qualità e con pagine quasi vuote, non durerà a lungo nella mia libreria e lo regalerò preso a qualche allievo.Gli esempi musicali sono estremamente semplici e scontati.

Effective way to approach rudiments on the kit.
The title speaks for itself. It is what it says it is and it does it well. It is a fun and effective way to apply rudiments to the kit and be musical about it. I feel more confident about my fills, chops, and I just feel looser on the kit. You don’t need a solid handle on rudiments to use this book, but it’s challenging enough for someone that does.
