LED Strip Lights, SuperonlineMall™ 16.4FT 5M SMD 5050 No-Waterproof 300LEDs Flash Strip Light ,Ribbon LED Lighting Strip, 12V (Green)

As you can see from the bat symbol photos, these lights look good for backlighting.I'm only giving them 3 out of 5 stars for two reasons.First, these showed up when I searched for "YELLOW LED STRIP" and the photo obviously shows yellow LEDs, not "Warm White" as the description shows. I picked this one accidentally because the same graphic was used for another set that actually said Yellow, and didn't realize the difference until later. It shouldn't use a yellow LED photo or show up in a search for Yellow LEDs if it's actually white.Second, as the description suggests, they include no power source in the kit. This isn't uncommon, but I'll always rate the ones that do or that at least have the option, higher.

I used these to put bed lighting in my truck. I wanted waterproof LEDs so I wouldn't have to worry about them. They have been installed for about 4 months and I haven't had any problems with them. I did use some 3M VHB tape to attach the LEDs to the bed rails of my truck, but the adhesive they came with seemed decent enough, I just cant comment on how long it lasts.The pic of my truck bed used about 10.5 feet of LED strip (5 feet+ on each side) and it is plenty bright enough. Much better then the LED "pods" you can get for the same purpose. If these LEDs burn out for some reason, I will buy them again. Recommended.

Quality is fine.adhesive is fine as long as you don't expect a lot of heat or a non-rigid surface like carpeting. I used it on steel, and it seems to handle the job ok. I got some silicone as well.The real disappointment is that as you power more lights, they get dimmer towards the end. I bought 2 strips and cut them several times, using 16-gauge wire and solder to connect the individual strips. I used perhaps 1/3 of the second strip, and when connected in series to an adequate (5A) power supply, the LEDs towards the end were perhaps at 40% brightness. The difference is VERY apparent. If you buy a power supply parallel splitter, that should take care of the problem, but it's disappointing that you'd have to.

Lots of loose connections on the LEDs. many didn't illuminate or will illuminate and turn off depending on how the strip is touched. Seems like lots of loose connections. Only about half of them seem consistent. Bad quality control.

Bought these along with Ultraviolet and Bright White to make my own Tomato Grow Light. Not bright at all. Even 12 inches away they are not even barely illuminating a piece of white paper. Very dissatisfied.

Great led's cant beat the price seem to be brighter when cut into sections for things, they also seem to take a bit more power but still way under what the description rated them.

very nice lights. in order to solder protection covering must be removed on contacts. A bit difficult but doable. I'm happy. thank you

Very good leds haven't had 1 diode go bad on me yet and they've been under my truck in all types of weather still working flawlessly
