Sonicomi Artbook: Super Sonico Picture Album Paperback – 13 Aug. 2013

This book regularly sells for silly prices, so keep on checking to see if you can get it for a decent price (around £30) The book is filled with high-quality crisp images of Super Sonico from various sources. The images fill each page, with little text throughout. I would have liked to have had more pages and even a hardback version, but what there is is a very nice collection of Super Sonico that never veers to far into risqué territory. Sonico does show off her considerable assets in a lot of these images, but never anything more than being suggestive.Overall it's a nice artbook for the collection, and well worth a purchase at the right price.

Who doesn't like bishoujo art?

If you're a fan of Super Sonico then I think you'll enjoy this book! It's just full of large images of Sonico, dressed in an array of various outfits ... most are quite skimpy, so as to reveal her buxom body and voluptuous curves.Sonico is a fictional Japanese character that features in videogames, manga comics and anime. And there are many figurines based on this character. Within the fiction, she a college student - who works part-time as a model, while also being a member of an all-girl rock band.This book depicts Sonico modelling ... from bikinis to cosplay. It's not a particularly thick book (and I would have liked it to be 200+ pages), but it's nonetheless satisfactory. The art work itself is great - and Sonico looks both cute and sexy.I've attached photos of a few of the images from the book.

Sonicomi Artbook: Super Sonico Picture Album is a book that should appeal to a select group of fans, basically those who already know Sonico and those who like Japanese-style busty character pin-ups.This 160-page paperback artbook is filled with full page and double page illustrations of the headphone-wearing Super Sonico. These illustrations are from all sort of publications, games, and merchandise. They are huge and well done.Since the video game is about photo shoots, Sonico is always in various costumes and attire. Cosplay is a theme so you get to see Sonico donning some famous outfits such as those from Master Chief, Black Rock Shooter, vocaloid Hasune Miku and many more.There are a few risqué images. Those that show cleavage (plenty) are considered mild by comparison.This book was originally released in Japanese edition as ソニコミ アートブック　~すーぱーそに子写真集~. Udon translated it to English. There's not much text except a description for the game, and about her wardrobe and costumes.If you like what you see on the cover, then you would probably like this book.(There are more pictures of the book on my blog. Arrived sooner than expected! Wonderful art book all around including the images right down to the weight and gloss of the pages. The images included contain a nice variety from the game as well as contributions from various artists. If you love Sonico this is a must have!

El artbook está genial, lleno de dibujos geniales de la popular Sonico. Personalmente me encanta, y quiero recalcar que es para adultos porque alguna imagen es algo subida de tono.

Wildly popular mascot character from Japan gets her first 'photo book' domestically. She already has a TON of merchandise in Japan (books, magazines, trinkets, and especially figures/statues). There is minimal need for translation as text is sparse. This is mainly an artbook with full-page pinups of Sonico. The quality is very good. Nice glossy and thick stock pages. Of course, the resolution of the images have suffered ever-so-slightly through the transfer process, but it is hardly noticeable unless you take a magnifying glass to it. This is pretty standard for the few publications that are lucky enough to warrant an English-exclusive version. Japanese print and binding is easily the highest quality worldwide, so it's difficult to live up to that standard.I'm just glad to have an English version of this book. Would definitely buy more English-translated Japanese artbooks if they existed!Retail price is decent (moderately priced), but Amazon's discounts made it ridiculously cheap!
