Works with old storage drive
This worked with the 10 yr old external hard drive that was missing the original power cord.

Fits sata to USB adapters.
I bought a usb to sata adapter but it didn’t come with a wall power charger that I needed for the large 3.5 inch hard drives. This adapter had the correct barrel size to fit, and works perfectly.

Wild voltage fluctuations - almost damaged my equipment
I got this to replace the power cord for a specialized tool that is out of production. It worked OK for the first few months, then the machine started power cycling and behaving oddly. When I used my voltmeter, I saw that this thing never hits 12v and jumps all over the place. Don't use it on anything that matters.
