These gloves are great at preventing heat from hurting my hands. But I need to use them when lifting a copper kettle that has metal handles. Using these gloves, I cannot get a good grip on the handles. Although there are lots of little bumps on the surface, the gloves are slippery on metal. So they are superb in the heat resistant category, but too slippery for my particular needs. I need gloves that give a good grip as well.

does a good job taking the heat away but there is a leak in the gloves and they are not water tight. My hands went in to grab a pulled pork which had lots of juice in the bottom of the pan. I pulled my hands out with the pork putt and the juices engulfed my hands leaving blisters.

These work great for getting things from the oven to the table but I do not recommend them for holding something hot for a length of time. You will definitely feel the heat come through. If I cook with a pan on the bbq, I can't take it from BBQ into the house. The heat will get through.

Gloves are clumsy and cumbersome. Went back to standard oven mitts. Giving these away..

Too bulky to easily pick up anything. Only thing I'll be using them for is cleaning surfaces when using harsh chemicals.

Awkward; didn’t work. Threw them away
