A good product from a good firm
The video on U Tube quickly overcame my doubts on how to apply it. The whole job was done very quickly without fuss.

Nice and Easy
Very easy to use with very little mess, instructions could have been bigger but a magnifying glass sorted that little problem. Now I need to see if it is effective.

Trick to injecting into a bleed valve in radiator or filter...
This is a neat way of delivering new or top-up inhibitor. The connector houses a couple of different sized threads to screw into radiator valves. However, it is also possible to use a bleed screw either on a radiator or Adey's Atom filter, provided you realise the 'trick'. The nozzle is soft plastic: simply trim off the two downsizing sections, then remove the bleed screw completely and firmly screw the nozzle on in its place. The metal female thread will cut a thread into the nozzle to make a seal. Nearly made a right mess before realising this....

Instructions hard to understand
I'm an engineer and even I found the instructions for getting this stuff into my system confusing. It's good stuff but the method of attaching the flexi-tube to the device was fiddly and confusing.

It workks
I drained my 8 year old system for decorating purposes and thanks to the inhibitor there was no sludge. Naturally I have put inhibitor into the system again and it was so easy to do

Avoid, bad design too fidley
I have used the MC1 in the past but due to being lazy I thought hey lets go with the canister, instead of opening 3 valves we only need to do the one at the top, WRONG, the plastic tip has no thread so when you twist it inside the top valve there is no way to know how far or how well it has created a thread to seal it. So what I did was twist and then open the water valve just a little... to my surprise water was leaking around the valve so I kept twisting until the plastic tip just broke off:( how great... at which point I spent 1 hour trying to remove it from the valve as I wouldn't be able to seal it back up with the Magna Clean one. I had to use small flat screw driver to break the plastic inside the valve, slowly and carefully not to damage the valve thread. After I did that I went the normal route of draining the Mangna Clean, cleaning it and I just put the hose from the canister inside the Magna Clean, pressed the button and the liquid squirted out, not at pressure (in case you think that a jet will splash everywhere), it was just like you would pour it.Lessons Learned, for the sake of 2 extra minutes having to open the Magna Clean and drain it I spent over 1 hour. Avoid the canister (MC1+ Rapide) as there is nothing "Rapide" about it, unless you plug it straight into the radiator as it is meant to be used due to the radiator threaded seal included DO NOT plug this into the top of your Magna Clean valve. Just go with the standard MC1+ solution. If you did purchase the Rapide canister and don't want to risk it (happen what happened to me) just squirt the stuff straight into the Magna Clean tank.
