While this is no Prima guide book, this does give you relevant information. Gives you details on each main storyline quest, and strategies on how to fight each monster. Gives the weakness, weak points, drops, and breakable points on each monster. Obviously each will be different depending on which weapon you use. The information they give is accessible on the internet true, but most of the information was in the book before posted on some of the wiki’s. Idk how far the book goes as far as the missions are concerned since I haven’t finished the book yet, but I know it covers all the elder dragons and such.

Very good fan-made guide. It has all of the info that I need as a beginner to start the game off feeling confident. My only complaint is that there are no color pictures.If you're new to Monster Hunter and want a nice compendium of information, this is a good buy.

Book is much more plain looking than I thought.. zero color and more so standard info ud find I. Hunters notes.. some use full information.. but the lack of color and detail in pictures is sad and hard to make out . This picture i had to turn brightness up quite a bit to b visible.

THIS IS A TERRIBLE PRODUCT NO PICTURES NO WEAPON INFO AND MAPS, YOU WILL GET MORE INFO JUST GOOGLING WHAT YOU NEED.

ehhhhh.... I can tell a lot of work went into it and it's useful. But, not the most intuitive organization/lay out so you have to adapt to it to make it faster than just googling it.

If I could give this no stars, I would. PLEASE read the rest of the reviews before buying this book. If I did, I wouldn’t have had the pleasure of writing my first bad review for an item on this site. The book literally looks like it’s copy pasted from a website on to Microsoft Word and printed. This book is a sham and didn’t help me or my boyfriend out with anything. Margins are all wrong.. This is just a terrible buy. You’re better off watching YouTube play throughs and how to’s. Happy Gaming. And may this serve as a warning to future naive buyers.

Missing data on quests. Not effective past early game.

Awful...just basic info pulled from websites printed and stuck in a book. Was hoping for detailed weapon tree and crafting items...nothing! No info about ingredients, crafting, melding, decorations etc. Not even all the monsters have strategies, Deviljo just has a picture and a paragraph describing what it looks like...overall very very poor quality finish and severely lacking worthwhile content! Save your money.

Great guide with lots of information. I thought it was an official game guide when I bought it but it’s not. Still a very helpful and detailed book to help you in the games.

Was hoping for a complete guide to the game, not only is it basic, it’s orientated towards PlayStation controls. Quite disappointed.

I was greatly under-whelmed when I opened my package and saw this book. But I didn’t let that get me down because not all game guides are big books.It turns out that it’s all photo copies. And the book only displays a level for really rudimentary gaming experienced users. The pages are non registered properly. Some information is not even displayed as a professional would do.I paid roughly $30 for it, and honestly my opinion with this quality of book it’s worth $5-10. You know 10 cents a page?It offers nothing that you can’t find for FREE on the internet.

Good book with lots of information.Only thing is that I would have liked the pictures to be in color.Book is all black and white.Glad I bought it.
