I bought this today from an auction site, but thought, due to the poor description and picture, that I was buying a Monopod. As it turned out, I got this. I have to say though, that I am far from disappointed wit the purchase! This is a quality bit of kit. From the very padded handle to the sturdy carbon fibre tubes, it feels very well made. The screw release nuts are very quick in operation and easy to use even with thick gloves on, and they take very little effort to fasten securely. If you, like me, enjoy photographing events that draw large (usually tall!) crowds, then this is the stick for you! I'm sure you can buy cheaper, but when you have a £1-2000 camera mounted, would you trust a cheap extension? I still need a monopod though, any suggestions?
