Great Bazaar Vijaya Chakli, 7 Ounce

This is a perfect snack if you enjoy the spices and seasonings that are commonly found in Indian cuisine. My purchase arrived in great condition as well, with pretty much all of the chakali intact (not that I mind the little bits!). The flavor is pretty heavy on cumin and I don't find them very hot but I also drink hot sauce lol. I like that I can just have a few and feel satisfied as well because they are rather dense. I would absolutely buy these again and I can see them becoming a staple in my snack cabinet.

The product stinks of staleness and smells of bad and very old oil. I tasted one and will not take another bite as it might make me sick. Should not be allowed to be imported to the US. I have severe health concerns about the consumption of this product

I opened the bag, and it had a very stale and weird smell. They also taste very stale, upon further inspection, they expired in October 2023 and it’s currently March 2024. They’re not eligible for return or refunds, so kind of a waste of money.

We love this and it's delicious, but it's a little pricey to buy very often.

I'm a white man that just loves India's food. Its got a noticable cumin taste and after eating 1 or 2 "curls" u will definetly feel the heat ! Not too bad but the heat is there. I wouldn't buy it if the heat wasn't there. The crunch is suttle but its there.This is one of my favorite snack foods. Its fattening so watch it. A lit o fat.

I purchased 2 bags of this thinking it’s going to be ok since I knew the brand. When you open the bag it immediately smells extremely strongly of plastic, and if you eat it, the chakli is completely stale. I even tried to eat it despite this and it tasted and smelled terrible. I hate throwing away food and had to throw away 2 bags due to the quality issues.

For me, these are the same quality and freshness that you get at the store.
