I used these at a summer workshop I attended. The squares allow for easy schematic drawing as well as writing. To be honest, I really enjoyed using them. The workshop wasn’t long so a large notebook wasn’t needed. I love that I can organize so that a single topic is covered in a single notebook. It was pretty perfect. Pages allowed for smooth writing and the notebooks were well constructed.

The blue lines are so overwhelming and heavy that unless you write with very thick black pen, you won't see much of what you write. All you see is LINES!!! You get what you pay for. I bought myself "normal" composition book from Staples and have been using these as scratch paper with a Sharpie. Highly recommend to pay few bucks more than to suffer the same mistake as me.

I like to use these for drawing and my kids use these sometimes in math classes. It is handy to have them around.

I love graph paper notebooks because it makes it so much easier to make lists and format a page of notes instead of just writing on standard lines. The blue of the graph paper is a little bit dark though, I have to use a black pen to see my writing well against the blue lines.
