Thought these would be better than the Vitax collars because they are larger and much softer on the delicate stems of small plants.However, they are very disappointing - because they are so light the wind blows them away! Don't Agralan test their products before putting them on the market? The best cabbage collars I have ever used were actually homemade from carpet underlay.

These work very well but you need to make sure you completely cover them with a layer of soil, otherwise they just blow away. Despite being so thin they are very tough and even when retrieved from massive woody sprout plants they dont seem to tear and after washing and drying are ready for re-use.

Great value and can be used over and over again. Made from soft material which won’t harm the plants.

Very thin and flimsy. I slight breeze sends them flying. I put them in place round my cabbages then next day spent my time collecting them up from around my allotment. Expensive purchase for a cheap product.

Nice and large. But they blow away in the wind when the cabbage is young. When the plant gets bigger, it will probably hold onto it better. Not sure if they are water permeable though

Great value for money, they are a bit flimsy but ok once I watered them down.

For an organic grower, these are the only answer to keep those wretched snails and slugs off our cabbages.

Popped these babies on my brassicae last week and the slugs have gone hungry ever since. Easy to fit and look like they should last a few seasons.
