For the past year, I have been trying every kind of lotion - searching for one that actually softens the skin and gets rid of wrinkles and psoriasis - long term. I have had patches of dry skin psoriasis for 10 years that would never heal, then I tried Jergen's Shea Butter lotion and was surprised that it actually worked, no more dry patches! It softened and healed my dry hands and is an excellent face moisturizer. At age 58, it was amazing to see the wrinkled, dried-up skin on my hands and arms disappear, now looking so much softer, healthier and younger!I now use this lotion as my overnight face moisturizer and I put it on under my make-up every morning, and the results are excellent. The scent is fine, but I would prefer to have this lotion with a floral scent, such as lavender or geranium. It contains both Shea butter and Cacao (Cocoa) seed butter, and Mango seed butter which are very moisturizing and soothing. If it did not have cetearyl alcohol added, the lotion would be even more moisturizing, however, I did not experience any drying effects or delayed irritation reactions to the alcohol - (as I have had many times with other lotions). I do wish that the lotion did not contain petrolatum (derived from petroleum) or urea (derived from urine), since these do not seem beneficial or necessary, and in the past when I used a petrolatum salve product - it immediately caused me to develop many warts that I still suffer from today - so I have always tried to avoid petrolatum. So far, Jergen's Shea Butter lotion has only had a beneficial and silky-smooth effect. Tried and true, it is now top-ranked on my list, definitely best and better than the rest.

This product goes a long way. It doesn't take much to spread while you are wet as instructed. It last a good while if you use every few days. The scent is not overpowering and can be used for both male and females. You are not dry for the rest of the day and don't need to use any other lotion for at least two days. It's not greasy at all. You don't even feel like you have a filmy feel. It definitely soaks into your skin and helps with any dryness.

The fragrance is subtle which I appreciate. My skin is incredibly soft and retaining moisture which is not at all typical for me. Excellent and long lasting moisture. Very pleased!

Love this lotion! Great price for such a big bottle. Used the the moment I got it and my hands and feet already feel softer. Doesn’t feel greasy at all.

I love how convenient it is to apply it in the shower. Moisturizes my skin while it’s still wet which is what my dermatologist recommended. A bottle lasts me for about a month with one day application. I didn’t give it 5 stars since I wish it was a bit more moisturizing specially in the winter, but I’ve been using this lotion for years nonetheless.

I have very dry skin, VERY , dry skin. I have used Kiehls, loccitane, vaseline, shea moisture, nivea, amlactin, cerave, oil in the shower, oil out the shower the list goes on and on and on with the variations I have tried. I ended up making my own lotion because nothing would leave my skin moisturized from sun up to sun down. But this stuff right here, it is AMAZING. I am moisturized, soft, and supple all day long. I do not even have to layer moisturizers, I can use this all on it's own and my skin is *chef's kiss*. I take my shower and while I am still wet, I slather it all over my body. I get out the shower still pretty wet, do my skincare, brush my teeth and when all that is done I rub it in and I am GLOWING! I may look ridiculous standing naked in the bathroom airdrying my lotion but it is 100% worth it. I will say, how I use it only has it only lasting about 2 weeks for me so I end up going through 2-3 bottles a month, it is my 7 year old daughter's favorite lotion too. But $30 a month compared to what I have spent in comparison to other creams is just fine. I will be using this forever, as long ad they make it.

I haven't used Jergens in a while. But I'm so glad that I got their Enriching Shea Butter version! The thickness and feel of it are so luxurious and the scent is so nice (very soft and won't overpower your perfume--it will enhance most of them). The way it absorbs and lasts is also a treat--put some on a few hours ago and have washed my hands twice since then--haven't reapplied. As a Black woman, I am impressed that Jergens is still doing us right!

I have used jergens for decades and cannot recommend a more reliable product. Cost effective readily available.
