ESTRELLA BRITE Estrella Herbal Brite Toothpaste, 4 Ounce

This is great toothpaste. I have been looking for some all natural toothpaste for a while and have never found anything I have liked until this. It has a nice clean feeling on my teeth and mouth. When I use at night, upon wake up I do not feel that 'gross' taste in my mouth (like with some toothpaste) or have awful morning breath. I don't feel hesitant to talk to my husband fist thing in the morning before brushing my teeth. With other toothpaste in the past, I always covered my mouth and spoke through my hand. :) I'm sure some of you know what I mean. My teeth have never felt as truly clean as they have using this toothpaste (unless its baking soda). It is a little pricy but to me it is worth it to have a clean, fresh feeling mouth.

I read about this toothpaste in the Chinaberry catalogue, and decided to try it when I noticed with dismay that my recent gum transplant was receding AGAIN! I had been using a $50 per-tube high-end whitening brand which maintained but did not increase my level of whitening. After two weeks of the following regimen I am pleased to report that my gums are actually returning to health and the recession is filling in. Not only that, but my teeth are whiter than they have ever been as long as I recall!1. Brush after breakfast with Estrella.2. Brush after dinner with Estrella. (Don't use water as this method is said to be more effective at getting rid of the bacteria that cause gingivitis and recession.)3. Floss thoroughly, then brush again lightly with water to remove anything dislodged by flossing. Brush tongue. Rinse thoroughly.4. Before bed, swish and thoroughly agitate 1 tsp of pure coconut oil throughout mouth for 20 minutes. The oil supposedly kills and disables the plaque causing bacteria. After a day or two you will notice less "fuzziness" on your teeth.I understand the concern that this is expensive toothpaste, but it is actually less $$ than I was paying with better results. Wish I had found it before the gum transplant. Considering the cost of most dental procedures (and the new findings that Alzheimers may be influenced by plaque causing bacteria in the mouth that enter the bloodstream during invasive dental procedures! Really, look it up . . .) I think this toothpaste may be worth it in the long run. Try it!

I like that this toothpaste has a relatively "clean" list of ingredients but I didn't notice much whitening nor did my teeth feel very clean while I was using it.

First off, I was really looking for some toothpaste which worked to clean my teeth and was fluoride and harsh chemical free. I wasn't really seeking teeth whitening. Having used this toothpaste for about two weeks i looked at my teeth closely in the mirror tonight and saw how different they look. I drink black tea twice a day and my teeth had very defined regions near where they touched each other that were significantly darker than the rest of the tooth surface. I can hardly see any difference in color on the tooth surface now. My teeth are more uniform in color and are brighter. I haven't really checked since beginning using this new toothpaste (I have two young kids and I don't get a lot of mirror time like I used to), but I looked closely for those dark regions and couldn't see them tonight. I'm really impressed.I also enjoy the taste and the small amount needed for results. I will be switching to this brand and am going to order the mouthwash. I'm just sad I haven't been using this for the last two years since going chemical free.

While the ingredients seem healthful, the so-called whitening aspect of this paste did not work for me. At this price per tube, it should do what it says it is supposed to do. Will definitely not re-purchase.

I have been using this toothpaste for about a year. Not crazy about the taste but I do notice that it is very effective in whitening. To counteract the taste, I use a little of another peppermint whitening toothpaste with it and am very happy with the results.

The very first time I used this product I was unsure just like products that contain baking soda your mouth is like what is this; but by the second brushing my mouth was alive. When I ran out and had to use my old toothpaste I was in shock at the difference in how my teeth were polished and how my entire mouth felt dull. I love this product and looking at other paste and their ingredients I do not feel the need to try them because this one is great and non that I found have what this offers.

If you are a fanatic about chemicals you probably wont mind this. It is a little too chalky for me. So far I cannot tell if it really is whitening.
