Unlocking a World of Visual Brilliance!
I have a thing for gadgets that just work without any fuss, and this HDMI splitter is now on top of my favorites list. Setting it up was as easy as pie - no rocket science involved. I appreciate that because who has time for complicated manuals these days?Picture this: the moment I hooked this baby up, it was like a burst of visual ecstasy! The 4K at 60Hz? Flawless. My PS5, Xbox, and even my ancient Blu-ray player have never looked this good. The colors are vibrant, the details crisp, and there's zero lag.But it's not just about the visuals - the audio quality took me by surprise. Dolby Atmos and LPCM 7.1 support? Yes, please! The sound now envelops me, making movie nights feel like a trip to the cinema. I even caught myself turning the volume up a bit more just to revel in the audio clarity.Oh, did I mention the HDCP 2.3 support? No more annoying copyright errors interrupting my binge-watching sessions. And the fact that it plays nice with my Apple TV, Fire Stick, and Roku? Pure bliss. The construction is solid too; it doesn't feel like a flimsy piece of plastic that'll give up on me in a month. The HDMI ports snugly hold the cables, and it doesn't heat up like a hot potato, even after hours of use.In the end, this splitter is the unsung hero of my entertainment center. It's like the backstage crew making sure everything runs smoothly while the stars (read: my devices) shine on stage. If you're in the market for a reliable HDMI splitter that doesn't break the bank, this one's a winner. Trust me, your eyes and ears will thank you!

Works Well as a Pass Through
Works well as a pass through. A very good option if you want to take one source and split it into 2 outputs. I used this to split my Roku 4k signal to my television and soundbar. This was one of the purposes in the listing. There is no signal degradation and the picture is as sharp and clear as the original source. The quality of the build seems good and there are indicator lights on it. You will have to plug it into an outlet to power it.The one issue I had is that I have to pause or use my soundbar during programs otherwise it will think there isn't a source and power down. I'm not sure if this is because splitting is bypassing HDMI-ARC since the splitter output goes straight to the soundbars input. Functionally though this splitter works as it should. This does support mixing 4k and 1080p resolutions. 720p resolution must be consistent and it will only handle one refresh rate. You will also need to use HDMI 2.0 cables.

Great Basic Splitter
My use case scenario is to split my video switcher Multiview out to two separate monitors and it works perfectly for that. My switcher only has one 1080P HDMI output that I am able to connect to using this and send it out to two separate monitors. The ins and outs are clearly labeled, so there isn't any chance you mess it up. I have yet to try using it with an copyrighted material so I am not able to comment on that part. The worst part about this splitter is the power plug. It is a little bit on the bigger side so just plan accordingly if you are using a power strip. Overall highly recommend if you are looking for a simpler HDMI splitter with two outs.

Handy for sharing one AV system between two TVs/Projectors
I am using this splitter to feed a 1080P computer monitor and a 4k@60Hz projector at the same time. The monitor is set up in an equipment rack and turned on only whenever I have to do setup work on the AV system without having to turn on or view the projector screen. I am testing this as an alternative to a 1x2 bidirectional HDMI switch that requires toggling between one or the other, which is no big deal except I forget to toggle it to the default position sometimes and I'm left wondering where my video went. Plus after using the 1080P monitor my 4K HTPC desktop gets messed up.I don't think I have run into a problem yet with the HDMI 2.0 limitation but I sort of wished that I had looked for an HDMI 2.1 compliant splitter. I'm not currently needing ARC or eARC support but that may change, and CEC is more trouble than it is worth so I don't even try.For the price this seems to be a good value if you are sure you don't need HDMI 2.1.

Works for me
I tried multiple solutions to split the HDMI signal from my wireless Rogers set top box into smart TV and old fashioned audio (via an HDMI to RCA adaptor) , and at the same time preserve the ability to start/stop/control the TV from the Rogers Ignite remote. This one finally did the trick.
