I would recommend these to anyone wanting to switch to smart bulbs!
I love these bulbs. I replaced every bulb in my apartment with these, something like 11 bulbs. I compared every bulb of this type on Amazon and ended up on these. I don't think there is any RGB LED WiFi bulb on the market at the moment (at least in this price range) that is ever going to get me to give them a 5 star rating. But, I do believe I picked the ones that got me the closest to that rating. For the price, they do pack quite a bit of feature in them. They in fact are RGB bulbs that appear to have up to 16 million colors. Sometimes I feel like they are a bit off from the color I think I'm about to get, but that doesn't really bother me too much.I bought these because most people reported they were the brightest in my comparisons. That being said, I still wish they were a tad brighter. On a really gloomy day they don't feel like they really uplift the room with light, they just make it bright enough to be able to function. The App that you use to control them works great! 5 stars on the App.I also successfully connected these to with the Amazon Echo Alexa Skill and that works great too. But, this leads me to the other reason that I find these not to be absolutely perfect bulbs. These bulbs have a thing called 'Scenes' in the official app, but when you try to use the 'Scenes' in the Alexa Skill it can't find them no matter what you do. It would be really cool to be able to turn on Scenes with your voice. But, with your voice you are still able to change the color according to a chart of acceptable colors you can say with your voice, which is a staggering list that I will never memorize (or in other words way more than I will ever need, which is great). Oh, and obviously it is very easy to use your voice with Alexa to turn them on and off.So to recap, 4 out of 5 stars because I wish they were brighter and I wish the Alexa Skill was worked out just a tiny more to include Skills.

Cheap price, decent bulb
No smart bulb is immune to criticism. I had trouble deciding between cost ($15-40 / bulb), Brightness (45-60 watt equivalent) and app quality/ features. I should note that this is the only "smart home" object in my home. If I were trying to set up an entire system I would pay the premium for a better developed product like philips hue to make integrating easier. The light bulb itself is fine, for a 12 x 12 room three bulbs should be enough to sufficiently light the room. The app features are lacking, there is no synchronizing with music, the pre sets for patterns of color change are very basic and extremely limited( the slowest speed on color shifts is still fast), they have arrive home and leave home options but are only activatable by pressing a button, not by using your location. One feature that does work well is the timed light sequences that help me in waking up and going to bed. Finally I should note that it is very likely this app is collecting meta data on you(granted most things are) but it's a matter of you you want handling your data. Overall it isn't bad for the price if you just want some basic features and don't have anything else to integrate it with.

"Hmm...not sure what happened" out of Alexa.
tried over a dozen times to make them work. followed all the instructions and they never connected. I could not even get the app they publish to make them work. WIFI signal was working they simply need to improve the connectivity of these items in general. Not sure if having a router that has both signal bands caused the issue but it runs both simultaneously so it should have worked. Only the Sylvania white BR30 WIFI LED blubs that are close to $12.50 each connected right away and worked, but over time they too disconnect because it is quicker to turn the switch on than it is to request Alexa to do something 3 times and you have already cleared the hall. And honestly half the time I get a "Hmm...not sure what happened" out of Alexa. Highly overrated!! Not just the bulbs but Alexa as well.

Life changing.
Once I figured out the set up, it was a breeze! The instructions included in the package said to download an app called Jinvoo Smart and it would link to my alexa app, making it so I could voice control the light. How cool is that?! Anyway, I followed the instructions and it just wouldn't work. I went and read some reviews - it turns out the app I needed is called TuyaSmart. Once I downloaded that, getting voice control set up was simple and quick. I love that this bulb turns so many different colors, and most of all, I love being able to turn the light off and on without getting out of bed! This bulb also has a plain white setting and is bright enough to read by, but not so bright that it disturbs my boyfriend next to me in bed when he's sleeping.

Not very bright
Pros: Its LED. It has preset scenes. Its multi-color. Its cheap. It is WiFi enabled and works with Alexa.Cons: At max brightness, this light is about as bright as a lit candle and not significantly brighter than an iPad screen. I doubt I could read a book or get much done with this light. Additionally, there is no warm white option. Despite there being an option to adjust the white, the entire spectrum is basically cool white, which is not appealing and reminds me of an office.I would recommend paying more an going with TP Link's multi-color bulb.

Great product!
The media could not be loaded. Works perfectly! Does exactly as it says it does. The light bulb was easy to set up and connect. Paired with no problems to my WiFi or my Alexa. Changes colors and was very easy to use! No hub required and works flawlessly. I bought this for my lamp and bought a plug out from Best Buy to try both. The plug wouldn’t connect to my WiFi and was more expensive so i have to return. I will definitely be buying more of these ASAP!

This things works great and works great with Alexa too
This things works great and works great with Alexa too.We have this in my son's play nook and at 5 years old, he thinks it is the coolest thing to be able to tell Alexa to turn on playnook light. He can then tell Alexa to set it to many different colors and can also tell Alexa to set it to 50%, 75%, 100%, etc.

I just don’t get the fascination I guess
My husband really wanted one of these. It seems like a waste of money imo. It’s not bright at all. You can turn it on to act as a “normal” light bulb but it’s way too dim. Maybe at Christmas it might be cool?
