British Columbia Road & Recreation Atlas - 1st Edition, 2024 (Benchmark Road & Recreation Atlases)

I have many of their map books. This is very good.

Tons of good info

These map books are wonderful. Not only do you see every road that is available to drive on including dirt roads, there is information about interesting attractions, campsites, hiking trails and more. If you are traveling where cell service is spotty or you like to explore lesser known areas this map is whaat you need. We travel a lot and always careers a Benchmark Atlas for the areas we are visiting.

We camp frequently and own all of the Benchmark Atlases. Although, this is different due to Canadian laws, we are excited to try it out! Very detailed with information, such as small campgrounds and identifying land ownership (Forest services or BLM)

We travel a lot and own 6 benchmark atlases now. They're the finest on the market and include camping and fishing information and show the forest service and other backroads. What's special about the British Columbia atlas is that it is spiral bound. I just replaced my Oregon atlas after 20 years because the cover had ripped up and torn off and the pages were falling out. I hope they will all be spiral bound from now on.

My spouse and I used this atlas during our recent travel within British Columbia. It is very useful with its broad details of data and the quality of the maps. There are two different scales of maps, depending on the purpose of the map - "Recreation" or "Landscape". The best scale is 1:300,000 on the landscape maps, which is certainly better than most road maps, especially when you consider the road network included in these landscape maps and the large size of the province. I recommend this atlas.

Fantastic detail

Wie alle Atlanten des Herstellers ist auch der Atlas British Columbia zur Planung und Durchführung einer Reise in das Gebiet sehr geeignet, da auch untergeordnete Straßen und Pisten akkurat dargestellt sind. Dazu kommt eine Vielzahl von Informationen zu sehenswerten Orten im Gebiet.

Nichts für schwache Augen! Straßen und Nationalparks sind nur sehr schwer zu unterscheiden. Interessant ist, dass viele Detail enthalten sind. Nur durch den fast unleserlichen Kontrast, können die Karten wirklich nur mit ausreichend Fähigkeiten UND Lupe (auch für nicht Brillenträger) gut gelesen werden.
