Nicely made and ergonomic for ease of cutting, I have xl hands so it’s a little on the small side for me but would work well if you hands are large, medium or small.

When I opened the parcel I was well impressed. Then I noticed that part of the brass detail was missing!

Beautiful blade. Fantasticly sharp. Nice handle construction. A very good price for a such a lovely piece of Damascus.

First impressions of the knife were reasonably positive, however before I was even able to use the knife part of the handle fell off. Looking at the reverse of the handle and blade it was clear why this had happened - there is a thick coat of oil over both the reverse of the handle and the blade, which means this was clearly applied before the handle was glued in place, so it’s no wonder the glue didn’t stick. Given that there are brass pins through the handle I would also have expected these to have been hammered in and flared at the end in order to give additional hold, but they are simply straight pins.I know it’s not expensive for what it is, but whatever the price the handle shouldn’t fall off as soon as you open the package. Very disappointing indeed, I’m going to have to do quite a bit of work to this before being able to use it, including smoothing off the sharp edges to the handle that should have been finished more carefully.
