Quick arrival and THEY WORK!
As a newly licensed ham, I knew that these things were SUPPOSED to reduce RFI on cables. Well, I heard a godawful noise over my computer speakers when I keyed up on my 5W 2m HT. I was not sure if the ferite mix would be correct for my needs, but took a chance. I put a one of these on each end of the speaker wires with just one loop of cable through the ferrite bead. SILENCE! I was so happy. I didn't know what size I really needed, and this set has five different sizes. I'll probably have to give the rest to my neighbors when I crank up my Yaesu FT-2980 to 80 Watts!

They work.
Ferrite beads help reduce noise received on coaxial cable used for amateur radio. Several on the cable reduced noise 2 S units at my location. They come in the closed position. This can make things a bit difficult opening them to install. One size works well for rg8x cable the largest works for rg8 and rg213.

Simple fix for a huge inconvenience
My husband and I use dash cams in our vehicles when we are driving. We also like to play music. I use a MP3 player most of the time while my husband uses the radio in his vehicle. He recently purchased a "new" used vehicle to replace another . He is a delivery driver so he's in his vehicle a lot. To his dismay, when the dash cam was running, the radio would not receive any signal at all! After some research on the problem, I purchased these RFI EMI Noise Suppressor Cable Clips (also known as Ferrite beads) and placed one on either end of the dash cam cord, about 2 inches from the plugs. It did the job! My husband is a happy man! He has both radio and dash cam working at the same time now.

Solved my home stereo RF interference issues
My high quality home stereo was suffering from audible RF interference, likely caused by a nearby WiFi gateway, or any number of other wireless devices in the house. These solved the problem immediately upon installation. I placed one of these on the power cord for each component, on the end closest to the component. Since the power cords were of varying diameters, the variety of sizes included with this purchase covered all my needs.I had long assumed that the "static" sound I had been hearing was due to a bad audio cable, or worse yet, a defective component. For several reasons, putting these in place was the first step I chose in an attempt to eliminate the problem. First, cost was minimal compared to replacing all my audio cables, or paying to have equipment tested. Second, installation couldn't have been easier... they snap in to place in seconds. Long story short: These solved my problem in one fell swoop.

Sizing Was A Problem
Ordered these for use on bass boat 3 transducer and electrical connections to graphs and depthfinders. I used micrometer to measure OD in mm of all cables and thought I ordered correctly. Got the value pack with several sizes ranging from 3.5mm to 13mm which should of covered all the OD sizes I needed. But..... the 3.5mm was advertised to cover a 3-4mm wire size and it is Tiny! Not even close to closing around my 4mm cable. I had to go up one full size on all my cables so they would close and snap together. I did try to force one of the 5mm clamps on a 5mm cable size and the snap broke. Come On. Give out a proper description of size so the customer can order what they need. I will order from another supplier for the remainder of my clamping choke needs.
