Rust Stripper
The crimped wire wheel is perfect for removing rust on car and truck frames. Make sure you wear a face mask when removing rust so can live to see your project finished. It zips off rust down to the bare steel frame. Once the rust has been removed, I’ll completely wipe down the frame to remove dust, oils, or anything else. I head over to Amazon, or the “no more rust” website and order Mastercoat Metal Prep. It contains Zinc which helps prevent rust. I brush it on the frame to neutralize any rust that’s still on the frame. I also order Mastercoat Permanent Rust Saeler, and Mastercoat AG111. I apply two coats of Mastercoat Permanent Rust Sealer, followed by two coats of Mastercoat AG111. Your frame will never rust again if you follow these simple steps after using the Wire Wheel. I used these wire wheels to remove the rust on every vehicle I’ve restored. I’ve tried using POR15 but old man rust always comes back worse than before. If you’re working on something that has rust, I’d suggest you start by using the wire wheel, followed by the items I mentioned above. These items are used on bridges and subway cars, so they should definitely be good enough for your special ride. The wire wheel is the first steep of removing unwanted rust. You could always start by having your old car media blasted, or acid dipped then start from there.

Good product
Pretend mechanics always complain about something, this wire wheel is no exception. Anyone that has ever used a wire wheel knows that wires break off and go flying, that is why you wear long sleeves and eye protection!I am in process of replacing ceramic floor tile with laminate flooring on a concrete slab. Sadly, concrete slabs eventually crack and make a mess of ceramic flooring. Fortunately, most of the adhesive came up with the tile but some did not, plus there is residue adhesive everywhere. After doing much scraping I realized that I needed a better plan. When our house was built, tile was laid under the kitchen cabinets, so I had to buy an angle grinder to cut the tile where it went under the cabinets. Fortunately, I found this wire wheel specifically for small angle grinders and has worked perfect for smoothing the floor in prep for the laminate. Some wires have broken loose and even gone flying to on top of the counter tops. I consider that as the experience of using potentially dangerous tools to get the job done.Considering all the wire wheels available, I feel lucky to have found this particular wire wheel for small angle grinders. I chose the stainless-steel version.

Holding up so far
We have worn out and replaced several non-stainless steel wire wheel brushes that were purchased locally. This Weiler Trulock Narrow Face Wire Wheel Brush has held up to about 30 minutes stripping paint off a concrete wall with my angle grinder. Chemical strippers could not be used.

Great quality product!!!
held up better than similar more expensive options on amazon, this has done 2x the work and has 95% of its bristles still in tact compared to the other brushes used that did only half of the work and all bristles worn off, highly recommend this wire wheel.

beware
The item came wrapped in a plastic bag only. Since it did not have any packaging information from the manufacturer and the condition that it was in , i would have to assume that it was a customer return (used). I made the mistake of unwrapping it in the house and the bags that it was wrapped in smelled with a very strong chemical smell. obviously someone had purchased this previously and returned it and somehow it got sent to me. I put on gloves and took the wheel and bag to the outside trash. Im very disappointed.
